Fun game! Love the voice acting. Would be cool if fire stoped burning after a while, using gas with fire on the third level kind of blocks your path with so much fire that you wont survive walking throu it. I guess that is the point of the theme dou :)

@evilmurlock Thank you for the kind words. Yeah the effects are permanent to fit the theme. If you're not careful enough you will have no space left to fight or to reach the end of the level

I loved the intro and the voices although in the dungeon they do get repetitive sometimes. All in all great game, but I think the theme almost made it worse than it could have been outside of a forced theme. Great work.

Incredible !! A tactical RPG in 72h. Great job !!!

The penultimate level was really very difficult.

A cutscene or just an image would have really cool at the end of the game.

Thank you for your feedback! A "game won" screen would have been the next step, but time was running out. The intro screen and the graphics were already consuming lots of time ;-).

Nice! Very well fleshed out fire emblem style controls and I loved the voices. Really cool puzzle, although I suppose I wish maybe the elements interacted more? One particular time I was sure I'd beaten a puzzle because I'd blocked the way of the ice wizatd with fire, and then when I used ice to clear the fire, the fire and ice both stayed on the tile. But believe me, I fully understand the merciless time limit. Good job!

Can't even believe that such a cool game was done in 3 days at the game jam , wonderful. Interesting puzzle <3

I loved making funny noises for our game during last few hours before deadline and I surely enjoy listening to all the phrases in yours! The game itself is great too and I agree with another comment that it's really hard to believe that everything was done in just three days. Well done friends, wish you all the best ;)

Thank you!

@sunset @nirlandec: Yeah, all assets, sounds and also the effects were made in the time.
We have a very talented and fast "blender guy" in the team. What we didn't accomplish was making a suitable web-built and we had not enough time for a final polishing round, which would have been actually part of our time-schedule (for example sounds when a monster falls down etc.).
We also planned 10 levels, but we only managed to finish 8 of them ;-)... and there is no final screen after beating the game

Awesome. Straight awesome. Impressed with overall quality and gameplay. For 72hours with all the music, plot and level design it`s just incredible.

I didn't end up beating it but the voices were really funny and the game was a good amount of difficult. I know most strategy games are unforgiving about this type of thing, but an "undo" button--even for only one move--would be really helpful, especially when one of the wizards' pathfinding put him on an ice patch going the wrong way (I thought he would take the non-icy patch around the corner but he ended up using some precious movement to just slide across one ice square). I really liked the music, too! Great job

Tactical combat buddies!

Loved the intro sequence. That little bit of polish really adds a lot to an entry. The voice acting was also great - would have liked to see more sound effects, especially for movement, but I'm sure there were time constraints. Great job!

Guys guys guys I noticed the reference! Skate Wizards for life! Actually a very fun game. Love the story and voicovers. The music is a bit daunting, like the fact that I had to restart the level a couple times, but idk, still fun.

A lot of work from skilled people went into this game. This genre seems to me to be very difficult in such a short time, so all my gripes seem like minor things that time would polish out. You seem to know what you're doing, and it's really cool to see something like this. I loved that you weren't afraid to make a level unrecoverable with a tactical error, and you made it really really easy to start the level over when that does happen. Thank you very much!

The abilities interfering with the pathfinding and having to be careful about what you do was a really interesting mechanical choice. The character variation was really well done. Some levels felt a little bit tedious at times. Felt like fire and ice should cancel each other out.
