The Game

You are an apprentice Summoner and having spent years learning the art of Ethereal Teleportation, you are almost ready to graduate and get your robes. It is the day of your final test, a test which involves sending your master to the other room in the tower to get your flowing prize and bring it back. Unfortunately, Ethereal Transportation is a very delicate art and the smallest change in the ritual can cause things to go wrong. One unlit candle is the catalyst that causes the ritual to go haywire, sending your master off to who knows where.

As you frantically try to figure out where you’ve sent your master, the fare orb begins to glow, signaling that people need rides and now, whether you like it or not, you are the most accomplished(and also only) person in the tower. Time to get your Grimoire and get summoning, tower rent doesn’t pay for itself!

Keep a roof over your head, find your master and, most importantly, get those robes!

I love the look of this game, but it's a nigh unplayable slideshow, and I tried it in 2 different browsers. :( I tried to find a download because it looks really cool, but I didn't see one either here or on itch.io. I really like the idea of having this grimoire that tells you your tasks and you have to do different tasks each time. Maybe I will check back later and try again!

Loved this art style and the music was a perfect fit! The text in the grimoire was a bit hard to read do the font choice, but I think it looked nice stylistically. I also really enjoyed the writing style. Gameplay was one of the more unique ones I've played so far I really enjoyed it! Great Job!

Great game I love the art and world building. I just think that there is too much dialogue I end up skipping it because I get bored.

Cute game, with great art. The Treant level dropped a lot of frames and provided a big difficulty spike, would be nice to have the difficulty curve more smoothly. also, inputs aren't very clear either, having some kinda of prompt for when you can pick something up or use it would add a lot. Otherwise, great work!

Great art! I loved the vibe and music but had a hard time figuring out what to do with the items - I put the candles in the circle but wasn't sure what to do next. More helpers/tutorials would be great!

This game's pretty, and the background tunes are nice too! I struggled a little bit with the second level, trying to figure out the chalk/cauldron/stones, but had fun nonetheless. Thanks for sharing your game!

The game art is reeeally well done! I enjoyed checking out pages of the grimoire and different portraits of the creatures, I think I did something weird with the game though and it crashed :D
I feel that with a little bit of gameplay cycle improvement this would be a very cute nice small game, so far well done!

Loved the graphics and attention to detail with them. I was confused on the second level that I needed to stand in the circle to continue, but overall everything played well. The book of knowledge was a very nice touch!

Quite the all-round package! Though the controls felt a bit finniky and it would be great if in some future iteration we could 'scribe spell': make all the relevant notes for a client onto a scrap of parchment that stayed up on the screen.

I really liked the game and the interpretation of the theme! I would have never thought of a teleportation/summoning circle station, haha :D The art was super beautifull, which really fit the silly storyline. I was really hoping to save the wizard at the end though. Maybe as a very hard last level or something.

Sometimes the controls were a bit finnicky. For example, when the mortar and pestle was close to a candle, I sometimes had difficulty putting some herbs into the mortar and pestle because it kept interecting with the candle. But this was very minor and definitely did not spoil the game at all.

Really well done! :D

Fun game, love the art, the difficulty gap between the last stage and the other stage is harsh, and if your book is open at the end of the timer, you can close it and see what to do. I have a lot of fun to play it
