I wish there was a button category. The buttons are 5/5, absolutely amazing.

But for real, it's a simple concept but weirdly addictive. It kinda has a cookie clicker quality to it where you bootstrap up and get faster which is really satisfying. I love the aesthetic as well!

The only thing I would suggest is to make the mana amount more prominent as it doesn't catch your eye very well and it was hard to track. Also, maybe some hotkeys for maximum efficiency :stuck_out_tongue:

Very addicting game! You have a little gem here, maybe add a little bit more clarity, the 3D art is so pretty and just needs a little more polishing to be perfect. The UI art it works. Nice little game, love to see a full mobile version!

Really fun twist on the idle game genre! I played twice, lost the first time and won the second time with 14 seconds to go. Gorgeous graphics, and a fun aesthetic. This game gets a very high score from me!

This game had really cute visuals. I also enjoyed the audio and sfx. It would be nice to have some hotkeys rather than having to click on each button individually, but overall the gameplay was fun. My brain sometimes had a hard time understanding what was left and right (I kept thinking of it from the cart's perspective and getting it backwards). Overall, it seemed to have a nice balance and the progression was satisfying. Nice work!

A cute tiny game. I really like the idea and realization. I like the balance of the game, however I would made the beginning a bit faster.

Very fun game! I had to play 4 times before I beat it and then I had to play it again because it was so fun. Wonderful art and great music choices. I would suggest making the button to use the mana the whole image rather than the circle in the bottom right; it became hard to click when I was in a pinch. Great job!

My first play-through I didn't realize why the apprentices didn't make the cart faster, but after my first (severe) loss I figured it out. Cute graphics, and an interesting twist on the idler format.

Fun game! My first run was hot garbage because I had no idea what I was doing but managed a pretty speedy carriage by the end of it. Feels somehow RTS-like

Awesome game, I loved it! .

My thoughts:
- Great choice of music!
- Nice sound effects and feedback
- Super smart idea to show the crystals ahead. Allowed me plan a bit more and finally win the run
- Right and left could be switched, thinking from the perspective of the cart
- I was often confused trying to find the buttons I wanted, so maybe placing them close to the position they will spawn would have been great
- Maybe having the improvements to be global, instead of right and left specific would clean up the options in a nice way.
- I loved the "Click Me" fountains. Would have been nice to see other ways to interact with the road

Amazing entry! Congrats on the submission!

Very cute and somehow relaxing. I love the color scheme - it fits the smooth 3d models and the general tone of the game perfectly. The music choice is also spot-on. I think you really nailed it, and I really can't even think of anything that I would improve. All the more impressive that you did it all in two days.

There's definitely a dominant strategy that will see you successful every time  I managed to do the Emperor's bidding on my second try with 40 seconds to spare.

The game feels really polished. Superb job - take a cookie :cookie: :smile_cat:

I remember playing your game in previous Jam! This one immediately grabbed my attention with cute graphics.
The game was so chill I didn't realize there was a time limit and failed xD

![carrier.jpg](///raw/c93/65/z/642d6.jpg)

I was too concentrated on my carriers and collecting mana and was having a relaxing journey x) Even made me think a little about one board game I liked, Tokaido. There you also go through one road, and it's also relaxing (gameplay is quite different though). The atmosphere in your game is really nice, if it didn't have time limit, I would love that xD But of course many players might have different opinion (I am personally just not a fan of time limits tbh! especially in such relaxing games x))

Also, the take on the theme is quite unique in my opinion, and the game idea feels fresh. I enjoyed my playthrough ^-^

Everything is a 5 for me here. The gameplay itself seems very unique to me or at least how parts of it work together. It wasn't hard to understand how to play at all.

Chars are so cute that I was thinking if they're okay pushing such a big thing :D

3d art fits perfectly with ui and music is a cherry on top. It has amazing atmosphere and is a bit addictive.

If we are to give some feedback here the only thing I can think of which could be added if you were to spend more time on it - more complicated animations for the characters. But even as is it's a very cool jam game.

Well done!

This is a cute game, kinda relaxing really. I did find the mana count hard to check so making it more visible would be good. Lovely 3D though - it's really nice to have a 'physical' scene to show what's going on in an incremental, as opposed to only UI!

Stunning game and stunning developers :)

First of all, the art is so cool, color palette is perfect, music matches the vibe perfectly and the concept is so innvative. Love that you add directly for html player the option to fullscreen inside the game. Also good balance as in the second run I managed to win just with 12 seconds left.

A couple of notes:
- It was weird for me to spawn right apprentices in the left side of the walk and viceversa. Failed many times.
- Sometimes when spawinig directly on the resource, the apprentice didn't picked it up, although it was going through the object completely.
- Clicking alakazam when restarting game didn't work the first time, had to click twice.

Overall a super fun cozy clicker game! Great job guys and will pass by your stream sometimes definitelly. Loved your comment on ours ^^

I made it on my second try! On my first run, I thought those collectors should pick up those mana crystals on the side and got confused why they are not running around, but it clicked eventually  Some of those turned out to be simply props.

Here's my score. It looks like fabula beat me by a bunch

Honestly, I really loved everything about this game. The graphics, the music, and the overall style is such a vibe. Very good job, I love the adorable little guys that you have to summon and upgrade. In the beginning I didn't realize that the bar at the bottom was tracking how far we had left and the mana opportunities, so maybe a little indication in the beginning would be nice. I was sometimes a little disappointed when I would summon the little guys right on top of the crystals, but it wouldn't grab them at last minute, I did learn my way around that, but I thought it was something to take note of. I enjoyed this game a lot and can see myself getting lost in the gameplay.

I didn't realize at first that the big gray chunks on the road are also mana crystals. for some reason I thought they were regular rocks. The art is so cute. I love looking at the little summons carrying the chariot. Overall, pretty fun and I tried a few times but didn't manage to deliver the taxes in time x) I'm not very good. Maybe this time knowing the gray ones give mana too, I'll do better.

Also wanted to say thanks so much for playing my game on stream. It's cool to watch your different play styles :)

I managed to get down to 1m30s time left, but I still see the room for improvement. Very enjoyable game, a bit of theory, a bit of numbers, and a bit of fast clicking. Little dudes are adorable.
![rekord.png](///raw/fa2/04/z/64954.png)

What I found a bit confusing was that I intuitively assumed (and I had a hard time to get rid of that assumption) that left/right assistant is from the perspective of tax collector not the player, who doesn't really have left/right more like up/down. But perhaps it is just me.

One other thing is that, given already nice shape of the panels (with speed, carrier number, mana generation etc.), perhaps those could be buttons as a whole? It would be easier to click on them than to aim for the little pluses.

Really very cute, I made it with a minute and 3 seconds of time left after the third attempt... I had to figure out what was convenient to upgrade initially! Very nice graphics, well-crafted, and fun to play! Congratulations indeed. (Thank you for trying out my game live, the one where you have to summon the grandma!) :D

Very smoot and polished looking game. Great music, sounds and button feedback. Love the 3d models. I feel like the only thing missing is a littile bit better animations for the characters.![Posnetek zaslona 2024-04-22 225208.png](///raw/b74/e5/z/64b33.png)

The idea is great. The graphics are beautiful and the music is very good. The mechanics are very interesting and the reading of the topic is very interesting. I felt a little lack of movement in the characters, but I imagine I left it aside to focus on more important things.

Congratulations!

The little guys are so cute!

At this point in the LD scoring phase, my mousing elbow (not shoulder!) hurts a bit, even with my ergonomic vertical mouse, so I might be recommending this for basically every game, but I would have loved some keyboard controls, even if it was just four keys to summon the little guys and still mouse only for upgrades. Maybe a visual timer on the guys too? I know I lost a lot of assistants right before a crystal and often wasn't able to summon a new one until I had just missed it.

Apart from that, it felt good to play and felt fair. Beat it my first try and then lost a few when either my cat was distracting me or I was experimenting with weird builds like prioritizing the top row upgrades too much. Do you know what the fastest possible time is, or the best anyone's gotten? (I'm a bit tempted to start throwing numbers in a spreadsheet but I should probably wait until after the scoring period.)

Took a little while to realize how to play, I kept trying to click the entitre button panel? thing, and missed that the little + icon lights up. Otherwise a super fun entry with adorable graphics and a very relaxing but still hurrying along music. Intresting take on turning the usual idle "press button, number goes up faster" into a kind-of puzzle game where you have a time limit.

The lil dudes are lovely and I enjoyed the overall vibe. It's an unconventional idea with pretty visuals. If I'd change anything it'd be to make the mana counter more prominent - it seems like the most important value at any given time (even more so than the timer).

The game is really fun and requires some strategy. The graphics are simple, but they do the job so well. And the music really creates an atmosphere for the game, like this weird mix of anxiety and calm that somehow works. And the extra mana in the path and lifespam of the summons really add for the challenge.
