How to Play

To win you must satisfy all the equations in the circle. Equations go in a clockwise direction. An equation is satisfied when the sum on the right side of an equals sign equals the first number on the left of the equals sign.

The sum in the circle in incomplete and the missing numbers are placed below the circle. To win, you must place the numbers back in the correct slots so that the equation is satisfied.

To place a number in the circle you must left click the slot in the circle and then left click the number that you want to place there from the bottom bar. Double click a guessed number in the circle to remove it. The equations in the center of the circle show are the equations that the selected number is a part of which must be satisfied.

Make sure to try out the tutorial puzzles and read the How To Play section in game.

This is some wordle level. I want this. If I had one note, I would like to be able to use right-click to remove an entry.

I already generally like math games and this one was right up my alley. It felt super polished and challenging in just the right way!

@owtuvammo Glad you enjoyed. You can double click to remove an entry. I avoided right click in an effort to make in touch screen friendly in the future so it can be played on phone. But maybe having right click as an option would be no harm.

@pilottk Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!

This is great. This is exactly what I want in a game jam entry. Simple, not too much happening, but a good concept, where I have to think a bit. The art is simple, but fits very well.

Simple and great.

Good work!

Played all the tutorial levels in about half an hour just now. I like it a lot! Only snag I felt is that clearing slots isn't as convenient as it could be, as Owtuvammo already mentioned.

Awesome game! Super simple idea, but really well executed and surprisingly difficult.

Quite difficult. I wonder if adding more constraints would be interesting - like an equation that has to be valid across the circle, with a big "+" in the center of it? Particularly for the expert mode, it's so large that it felt like a lot of guessing and checking. Still, entertaining

Amazing game! I felt like it was just the right balance of difficulty. The daily puzzles are super interesting too, I'm assuming those will be randomly generated based on the current date?

Definitely consider developing this one some more. So much fun even with the short experience available here.

Fun little puzzle, very unique! I think it'd need just a bit more depth to be playable every day in a newspaper, but as a one off it was great.

this is a cute game, the pun name however is really the only thing that pushes this game towards the theme. I love the idea though, I'd love this as a -dle type game or something

Pretty cool, the last expert tutorial and daily took some time to figure out, but it was nice.

Really cool idea. In my opinion the tutorial levels are a lot more fun then the daily puzzles. The daily puzzles seem like the only way to solve them is to try all the possibilities.

This was super polished and very fun! I loved the wizard pop-up + particle effects when you finish a puzzle. Once the puzzles started including the modulo operator they got super interesting, I did all the practice ones and the three dailies :sunglasses:

Are you procedurally generating the daily puzzles or did you design them?

@benskca I am glad you enjoyed the game. The daily puzzles are procedurally generated using a seed based off the date. The tutorial puzzles were authored by me to teach the player the rules of the game.
