It felt like sometimes when I got 3 or 4 in a row (or column), it didn't wipe the blocks, so I wasn't sure why that was. Personally, I found the sound effect of the falling blocks a bit overplayed, and would've also liked the blocks to fall faster (or all at once), to speed things up.\n\nGreat submission though, nice job!","format":"md","likes":1,"spam":"N"},{"id":1056017,"author_name":"Wouter52","author_uid":"wouter52","epoch":1713375153,"text":"Love the concept! In it's core, this is a match 3 game indeed. I was wondering why you choose to make it only match horizontaly? I think its impressive that you did this in javascript! Also, did you really create all 360 of these spirit descripions? That must have been a lot of work! I googled some of the names to see if these are real descriptions, but it seems like you made them all up?\n\nAlso, I played for around 10 or 15 minutues, I never came across the scale to clear out. Are those more rare to get? The graphics need some polish in my opinion, but the core gameplay is there and if the player likes a good story, then this is a fun one to play indeed! \n\nI love how you always try to innovate with different techniques and often create something that makes one think. Not one of your games look like your other games. That is impressive\n\nAlso: the scoring is nicely done, splitting it into two categories. I tried to end the game by doing bad moves, it took me a while. I wanted to see what happened when the board filled up\n\nOh, btw. I just installed Arc Browser (its in closed beta for Windows right now), so I found it pretty funny to see your notice on top after playing  I can confirm that it works on that one (I believe its chrome based)","format":"md","likes":1,"spam":"N"},{"id":1057726,"author_name":"kr4ft3r","author_uid":"kr4ft3r","epoch":1713390612,"text":"Yo @wouter52 I played your game first and have a lot to say, but decided to wait for a better time as I'm too drained after submission to articulate properly.\n\nThe game's title is literally the name of the book and its author. I stole the data arrays from a website that is linked in credits. I guess spirits that help with legal issues (scales) are more rare, what each spirit helps with is based on matching words in their descriptions (though most don't match to anything and give single wildcard instead). I went with horizontal-only matching because it was giving me an enjoyable slow-game kind of feel that gives more dopamine when any match is made, but I failed in justifying that through visual cues or whatever, of course a lot of people will skip reading the instructions and will end up confused.","format":"md","likes":1,"spam":"N"},{"id":1059398,"author_name":"Heretic","author_uid":"heretic","epoch":1713424191,"text":"It turned out very conceptual, and in a special absurdly pleasant, the only thing is that the sound of the choice is a bit painful to the ears because of the harshness.","format":"md","likes":1,"spam":"N"},{"id":1059423,"author_name":"Minkki","author_uid":"minkki","epoch":1713425041,"text":"This is a really fun game!
