Great game. The graphics and audio are very well made and it was very intuitive to play. I found some of the events that kill you almost impossible to dodge but some were fair and added to the gameplay. Overall excellent entry!

Nice idea for two buttons (it actually reminds me of a section in the game Brothers, tales of two sons) it plays very well when you realize you have to hold each button every time, not just click.

One of my favorite jam entry, simple concept but very efficient. The game is very clean, no bug but some graphics assets are a bit blurred. It takes me several tries to get the gameplay but after that the game is very pleasant. Go publish your game on mobile store.

Thank you all for supporting comments we read all the comments and saw that you have a few suggestions and questions which we will try to answer:

@ Polith Games
We realized that many people do not understand from the first tutorial how to play, so the next update will allocate for that more time and do it step by step and easy to understand

@ teamross
physics of characters no ready to end in the future the future we revised it to a visually better

@ Leuthil
game system is not fully completed yet, some mechanics need to improve, maybe in the future we will introduce three lives for the game

@ Plauk
we will optimize the game in the furture development and hope that it will not lags

that was pretty fun!

I didn't get the controls at first, but once I realized I was supposed to 'hold' the key to 'hold' onto the mountain, they started to feel really intuitive and easy to use.

I didn't like how the climbers would let go at random sometimes, kinda made it feel like the game wasn't registering my key-presses which was slightly annoying.

I loved the graphics, and overall 'feel' of the game, it really felt like a snowy landscape.

Good job for 48 hours! :)

I have a soft spot for mountain climbing games :D It's definitely fun to play! I loved swinging around and toggling between the two climbers. I think it's too easy to game the system right now, though, just by swinging and toggling and the height of the arc. Maybe adding a bit more variety into the level would help break that up.

18. Dec 2015 · 08:14 UTC
It's a nice concept.

The controls were a bit too spaced, would have liked 'A' and 'D' but what really didn't work was it crashed Chrome when I hit '28'.

Only other thing I would have to say is, the mountain needed a better texture, I couldn't tell what I was climbing for the first 20 seconds
.
The game itself is a cool concept and I think if you make those changes you should continue to develop it!

This game was very fun (I played with with my 3 year old son after I tried it solo). The two button theme with two players is hard to pull off and I've seen alot of games suffer for trying to pull off something that can be two player or single player when they would have just been better off with the latter. This game does not suffer from that trap.

My only complaints: the host site kept crashing the game. Also, it would be nice if the appearance of the flying enemies (the ones the approach horizontally) was telegraphed as well as the falling enemies-- maybe some audio before they appear along with the same little caution sign you put for the falling enemies-- just put it on the side of the offscreen area they're approaching from?

That was fun! Like other people I had some trouble understanding what the right thing to do was - it seemed like since I couldn't control the swing direction I went back and forth and always risked falling. Then I found the easiest way to go up was by just using one of the climbers and letting the other one swing around :P

The game already looks great, with a little polishing on the gameplay I think you've got a winner here!

I LOVED the game mechanics. I thought the learning process was very well done. I had a lot of fun playing this game. I think I played it for over half an hour. Best score after three tries: 163. This is a cute little game. I think that sometimes the physics and the collisions are a little ropey though. I'm fairly certain that I should have been hit by the obstacles many times before I actually was. Overall I found the game a little hard to grasp at first, just telling the player the two button may not be enough for those that haven't played QWOP or other keyboard twister games.

I love this idea! Easy to play and very fun!! There are some problems with physics engine i guess. When my characters get hit by snow or something, they are pushed up instead of going down. Besides, as long as I taps two key, there is little chance to fail. which make it a bit too easy. Nice work and wish to see more!

+ Cool mechanics
+ Very nice audio and graphics
Con:
- Some hazards are really difficult to dodge (like the plane)
Obs:
o My best was 73
o I found a bit strange that when the partner swings to the other side the both fall, but I guess it's to avoid continuous swings

Great job!

I think this was the best incorporation of the two-button theme that I have seen. It was not a forced mechanic like most of the other game (i.e. able to do the game some other way - a better way - but forcing two-button controls). Your's flowed very nicely using two buttons. I definitely think that you should continue working on this post-comp.

Nice game, really enjoyed it. I like the graphics and the sound helps the immersion in the game.
Good job!

It is a really great concept and sometimes I ran into rope-snatching situations sometimes it just takes time to climb back. I got 58 for the first try and 116 on the second run, while I falling a lot. A love the jokes that arrives with a warning sign.
