This was an interesting game. A little short (unless I am missing something? There is only the poison to make, right?). Feels like an interactive wallpaper - extremely pleasing to look at and listen to! To add some drama to the game, a fail state for going too slow I don't think would be unfair, for example if the ingredients disappeared when the wizard asked for them, leaving you unable potentially to escape. Since the game doesn't take long it would feel too bad

This game is pretty and fun! I really like the design of the graphs, pixel art really well executed and the gameplay is fun to learn. It could have been nice to have a hint about the scroll with the recipe to follow to understand faster what the recipe is.
It could have been a bit longer but for 3 days its a great job ! :D
Well done, congrats!

@alanbrook Thanks! Yeah it's a bit short, you're right. I had many more ideas, but I had to cut a lot, to get it done in time. (As always :D)

@fabou Thank you! :) I hope it wasn't too hard to find it. I wanted the recipe to be phase 1 of the game, to make it a bit more challenging. :)

Short but to the point, maybe also show the name of the items on your bag when hover to let the player know what already has. With 3 items is not needed but if this could grow would be nice. Hope you're doing awesome and thanks for playing our game!

Oh, that's an interesting interpretation of Hidden Objects. I liked the graphics, but the sounds are pretty creepy ahahaha

Cute short game, the pixel art is a highlight for me! Beautiful work there. Pretty easy to pick up and understand as well. Would love to see more expansion on this one -- perhaps additional levels if you plan on expanding on this game. Nice entry!

it was ridiculous how long it took me to find this book, wondering "what the hell is a tome" lol

This was a fun game. I got caught the first time and was swiftly punished, but on my second run I figured out how to move better. I really like the idea, lore for the gameplay, and the graphics that go with it. I do think you should expand on this game more after the jam because it's cool :^) Great job

Love love love this. Somehow reminds me of Gobliiins. Everything about this is great - the art, the sound, the concept and execution. Welldone. I only wish it would be a bit longer, and maybe if there was a tooltip so I didn't have to look down every time I hovered the pointer over an item. Also, for clarity's sake, maybe the wizard puts the object you give him on the table until he requests a new object, because it was a bit confusing at first.

@aviv-levy Thank you so much! Good idea with the tooltip. I wanted the wizard to put the object on his table, like you said, but there was no time for that sadly. That would have been literally the next thing on the list! :)

I love Gobliiins! I played it when I was young :)

That was fun. It was tough reading the instructions without getting caught but I figured I could just read one ingredient at a time and I managed to win without getting zapped once! Clearly a lot of effort was put into the art, with all the things around the room. It was also a good challenge with the wizard occasionally asking for things I had to find. Really solid jam game.

Neat little game, took a little bit to figure out what to do but it all came together nicely!

Could imagine multiple levels that slowly lead to the wizards demise instead.

Nice small point-and-click you have here, tho the controls were not that obvious. But I got there and escaped.

What I think is a big problem of this game is that there is no challenge at all. You can take you time and hover every single item to find the required / poison ingredient one and just need to repeat it three times. Some timer might make gameplay a bit better, but to be honest I think there should be something else to make it working.

On the bright side - I love the minimalistic approach to the art & music, it really lovely. Despite sprites being really small the items are readable and nice. Limited color palette also working quite well.

Nice entry mate!
