I'm sure this wasn't meant to happen but I get this error every time I jump into the void to the right of the room that has 5-6 green slimes on the bottom with the grassy platform parkour above their heads. But based on what I was able to play its an absolute gem. Great art style, great animations, cool summoning mechanic, would love to see more, great job!

This is a fun idea! It's a really similar mechanic to what I used in my entry but used in a completely different way! Great job :)

Really fun! The gem throwing mechanic reminds me of Yoshi's Island a little bit, but the different behaviors of the gems put a cool twist on it. The general feel of the platforming was also solid, which was nice to see.

Very cool game. The music is nice. Visual awesome, I liked that the main character changes the color of clothes under the gems. The puzzles are interesting. Especially I liked that the gems have different physics. Now one of my favorite projects on this jam

I hate this controller from 2005. The visuals and music are good, but I didn't expect to walk into a cute platformer to see "I Wanna Be the Boshy". But the puzzle part is what I liked.

Damn this is a almost a 5 stars general for me. The graphics are really cute and overall just straight up great. The color pallete you choose is soft so it doesn't hurt to look at it. I really liked the difficulty of the puzzles and combat areas they are really good. And the music, GOOD LORD THE MUSIC, it's so charming, upbeat and just a great 8bit callback. The controls for the combat is also just perfect.
If anything, it isn't a perfect game just because of the 2 platforming sections, because the game doesn't have coyote time it's really hard making those jumps with a annoying bat enemy on your butt. But overall a FENOMENAL GAME. Really hope you win or at least stay in the top of the ratings.

Amazing submission, from the graphics to sound and gameplay pokeball-like summoning mechanics!

First of all the music in this game absolutely slaps, great job on that! The most interesting part of the design to me was how the crystals bounces around. I could totally see that being expanded to having the tile they bounced off effect the summoned creature! Awesome submission!

Really fun! Got some nostalgia from the jump precision challenge, real GBA vibes for me. Music and art was great, and I really liked the progression of levels. The shift from platformer to physics puzzles was an interesting twist. Though I was a touch frustrating to be one shot killed by the flying bugs... at least it resets quickly. Nice entry!

I really like this game. The 8-bit music, the atmosphere, the theme, the cute character, the jump dynamics, I love it. But there might be some problems that need to keep in mind. Firstly, the projectile from monsters are quite fast, not easy to doge. Then, the main charactor falls too fast after she jumps. This make me quite hard to aim and throw while jumping. The best way is to throw and kill all enemies and then jump. But the level has height, and I have to jump precisely to get better angle to aim. And again, the main character has too much momentum so it's quite tricky to jump precisely and doging enemies attack at the same time. These 2 main mechanics, jump and aim, is not combined well. And if I miss the shot at the end of the level, I have to go all the way back to the beginning of the level to get summoning item. I think maybe change it to a puzzle-solving game with limited summoning item is better. Or, maybe you can polish the jump dynamics to make it more comfortable? Or, just add a time pause mechanics in the mid-air while aiming, and player can change the angle. At last, I didn't get used to the control. I usually use WASD to move rather than direction key. You can offer both and let plays to chose. Overall, this is an impressive game :)

I think I got soft locked, because in one stage I didn't kill an enemy, and there was no way to backtrack or to die. Either the level needs changing or there needs to be a reset button.

Enjoyable to discover and play. Didn't find it too compelling, in the sense that the "newness" from level to level didn't feel much – felt a bit like content filler.

Art and music was nice :)

Thank you for sharing! :)

Wow this game is great! Smooth control, solid level design and a rhythmic soundtrack.

Unlike some mentioned above, I went through most of the level smoothly. The point was that the crystals won't explode if there is no enemy within a specific range. This mechanics wasn't introduced to players explicitly. Well that's only a small problem.

A really polished entry! Almost perfect for a jam game. Good job!

Wow, quite a fun experience. Controls are snappy and gem respawn rate is fast enough to not feel annoying, yet do not allow for easy spam. Music is catchy and sets the mood quite well, if not a bit too fast to loop.
Mixed feelings on gazers. Practically only real threat to the player, but also a bit annoying how they have no telegraph that they're about to shoot, so you have to awkwardly shuffle around waiting for it to fire off to ensure you don't get shot while aiming.

So cute and cool! I liked the retro style of the graphics and audio. The game mechanic works very well and is fun to play. There were moments that the game lagged a bit for me.

Looks very cool. That while you are aiming, you are vulnerable - it was cool. But it was hard to played to played without the coyotes jump and saving input a little in front of the ground). I recommend that next time you do these mechanics first and then make the game larger, but overall it was still enjoyable to play. Good luck to you.
