As a new hamster owner, this is so real, they are absolutely adorable and so blind at the same time! :D

Super cute art and idea :) I noticed that you can technically miss click outside of the map and drop the treat out of the map which was a little frustrating (I think partially because the square indicating where you're placing is slightly misleading since you can actually place the treat anywhere inside the square). Other than that, great entry!

So you get to play as the mice from The Incredible Machine? Cute little puzzler!

Great game, I had some differences in opinion with the hamster in the last level but that's how animals are.

Congratulations on creating such a delightful game! This game combines creativity and fun in a way that's truly engaging. The charming graphics and innovative gameplay mechanics, like building paths with cardboard pieces and guiding Hamilton with treats, showcase your talent and vision. It's a fantastic experience for players of all ages. Well done!"

Adorable graphics and sound, cool puzzle concept, well done !

The solution for the last level, kind of felt like I was abusing glitches (not to mention poor hamilton), and six level is a bit short to present and exploit all the cool contraptions you've made (not to mention the tubes that I see up there but apparently haven't made it to the game). But the game still feel a lot more polished than what one expect for a jam.

beside that I had some bugs:

I had the game refuse to show me anything when going fullscreen (freeze or wrong camera position, I can't tell)

And the links in the credits throw an error

then a few html addresses then this

@angry-cyboot Thank you for playing and for your comment. I'd love to make more levels eventually. We had to cut the pipes because of the hamster's unexpected inability to climb small ledges. And the choice to hand-craft dedicated levels instead of a generative approach happened 2 hours before the final deadline so I had to rush through it like crazy in the end lol

The last level is beatable in various ways, and yeah some of them include clipping seesaws into walls and each other but there are ways that feel more legitimate too where you have to kind of block the seesaws rotation with other blocks so the hamster can go up on them.

The web buttons breaking is an unfortunate thing: we used an older script that has worked fine in the past but apparently doesn't work anymore with Unity 6 or perhaps just this project.

I hope you still overall enjoyed the game, even with its quirks

@mibro Thanks a lot for playing! Yeah I agree that at least the first screenshot looks like a level that should work. It's a bit frustrating that the hamster can't handle small ledges like that. Only taller walls will make it jump.

Loved The Incredible Machine vibes, although getting used to the physics-driven nature of everything took a bit. One thing that would have been nice is a way to speed up the little hamster dude, going through the levels takes a touch too long when retrying solutions because of how deliberately its paced.

This hamster is so cute! Any tips on getting past the second level? When I put a fruit right on top of the block, Hamilton just eats the fruit and falls back onto his back on the side he jumped from. Adorable. T_T

The slope part is a bit glitchy which Hamilton keeps sliding off, but eventually he is able to climb up. It is indeed very fun to play and Hamilton is adorable !

Such a fun and polished game! I love the progression of mechanics over time and the number of included levels for the jam format. I did run into an issue where I couldn't use the trash/delete tool but I was able to just restart the level if it came to it. Really nice work!

Ridiculously cute! I looove the music! Although I've never truly understood hamiltonian mechanics, I finished the game. Great experience, thanks!
