Just a small game where you must grow creatures in a simple ecosystem. There is no real goal to reach other than to unlock three creatures. Just try to keep your creatures alive and see what they do.

Controls: - Left click to spawn and drag creatures around. - Scroll or tab to switch which creature to spawn, you can see selected one top left. - Space to spawn to random location - i or hover over top left for info. - ESC to exit. - P to pause and start the game.

Build2 is done post Jam. It has following bugfixes: - Attempt to fix issue where creatures might get scaled bigger than the screen. - Fix SporeSprocket consume cooldown (20000 seconds), it is now 15 seconds. - Fix SporeSprocket having too large initial size. - Fix not being able to keep SporeSprocket alive even with perfect feeding. - Fix not being able to keep Tentaculoid alive even with perfect feeding. - Fix Squiggler growing only half as fast as it should.

I tried the game two times in the browser and on both times all of my creatures exploded and made the entire screen white, but feeding and growing the creatures was fun while it lasted.

Interesting! I really like the concept and I'd like to see this idea expanded! Though i also had at one point the glitch where the fleas suddenly started shaking and then exploded and froze the game..

Really cool idea and fluid animations as well as blob designs. The simple art style fits quite well.

It was just a little difficult to explore the game, maybe making it a little easier would help a lot.

Very cool to observe the creatures once you have a sizable ecosystem, I liked it! I also really liked the squiggler animations :D

Neat little concept for a sandbox game, wish there were more creatures to use. The animations are very fluid and I enjoyed watching them move.

Super fun concept! I really enjoyed feeding and growing the creaturesthe animations are so fluid, and the designs are adorable! I did run into the same issue where all my creatures suddenly exploded and the screen went white, but it didn’t take away from the enjoyment. It would be awesome to see this expanded with even more creatures! The simple art style fits the vibe perfectly. Great work!

It's simply incredible to create such an ecosystem in such a short amount of time, and the fact that your art representation is executed so well is truly astonishing. We had considered doing such an ecological simulation ourselves, but had to abandon the idea due to technical limitations. Seeing that someone has managed to pull it off, and to such a high standard, is really delightful. Great job, friend! Of course, if you have the time, you're also welcome to play our game~

Found it challenging for keeping things alive, but I like the minimalist graphic and I enjoy watching those little creatures moving around!

It looks like you forgot to do a workaround when embedding the godot project for HTML.

This was fun to mess around with.

Other people have already mentioned the animations and things, and I agree.

I did have trouble keeping SporeSprockets alive - I thought it was really interesting for them to release spores every now and then, but I didn't seem to be able to get them to actually eat enough to survive, regardless of how many small FleaFlecks were around? I'm not really sure if that's what happened though, without being able to see the stats of an individual creature.

i really loved the minimalistic design and chill approach (well, not so chill when you try to keep alive dozens of creatures haha) really well done!
