I kind of love games that let you explore without any particular goal, just to see what you can find. The different dithering patterns on every surface are cool, it's a bizarre look and kind of awesome.
This was just a delight to play, I've followed your progress this LD and was very curious  It is indeed refreshing to "just explore" without a particular goal in mind. Just mess around and have fun
The art style reminds me of the old paint programs from back in the day
The art style is incredibly charming and it's very satisfying drilling through the blocks, so much so that it's very unsatisfying when one is left just out of reach lol. Feels like when you peel a sticker off of something and a few white chunks are left over. This is the only game I've played thus far that let me flush myself down a toilet, great work!
Aweeeeeeeeeeesome.
I dunno, really enjoyed it. Felt super unique. Its like simple, but its like good simple.
The fact that you dive into the toilet and drill your way to the bottom is such a fun idea.
That was very original style-wise, I really liked the general take on the graphics and audio, it sounded interesting and kinda "moody" when I went outside, so kudos for that! Some feedback:
- I'm not sure if the mechanic of overheating does anything outside of just stopping us from playing for a moment - adding more difficulty to puzzles or how we approach destroying blocks with it would be nice, instead it's just "don't go so fast" mechanic :D
- one small graphic issue for me was the difference of pixel size on character vs the background - the consistent size would look better I think, but the style overall was still really cool!
De-Profundis' world put up no resistance to any of my "I wonder if I can do this" thoughts. The answer was yes, every time. Finding secret shortcuts in my toilet, being intrigued by the local plant life, climbing a delicate ladder to get home in the dead of night, a lot of little things make this feel like a world and alive.
At first I thought the game was going to have a darker vibe based on the look, but after hearing the music I could confirm in my head "nah it's chill" and have a nice walk in the world. The outside music really spoke to me, got me in the mood to check out what I could find out there, something kinda forlorn and mysterious about it, I dig!
Oh, i found all "enteties" and what i wanna say that i love the style of this game, want to know which game or art it waas inspired of? Anyways grat job, game looks great and unusual, kinda alien.
Very interesting idea! Some of the jump physics felt a little weird, and the collision was strange in some places -- at one point I managed to walk offscreen and couldn't come back. I love the music and the unique graphical style! Well done.
Made to the end screen --

Can't say more, but awesome job!

Can you add the soundtrack as one of the download options on the itch page?
