Shleep by Rongo Matane

When I was young my father taught me the trick to falling asleep:
Counting sheep!

By now i've gotten quite good at it.

Our minds starts to wander when falling into deep sleep...

I nearly fell asleep.
It’s just an incredible piece of work – thank you so much!
This game is so good, I love the freedom it gives to the player. Simple idea but very rewarding. Cutscenes and events were very cool and made the gameplay always interesting.
ps: I played the exe since the webgl version was a bit buggy for me.
I really appreciate that disabling things doesn’t cost anything. It helps a lot when new “rules” are introduced, and you want to make a small rebuild. Also, it’s very cool how the intro scene was recorded, and the music really sets the vibe.
I also want to mention the animation where the dog sits and barks when it's not moving such a cool detail.
For me, the only thing is that the building area feels a bit too restricted. I couldn’t stack stones as close as I wanted, but I totally understand why it was done that way just a personal preference, I guess. And the barking mechanic is cool too it’s fun to use!
Loved it, such a great take off the theme, the real time cut scenes was hilarious and the sheep was gorgeous to count - Squirtle making them cool was a nice touch!
Loved it great job :D
Only complaint: somehow lost the guard dog button before I could buy any guard dogs. Still, game went on fine without them (wolves only appeared one more time after, so I had to be an active doggo).
Also, great to find another "Depth = deep sleep" interpretation out there!
Glorious!

Special shoutout to the artist. The little sheep and dogs are so cuteeee.
This was a wild ride, and I loved it. Easily one of my favorite Ludum Dare entries so far 🥳

Best idler I have seen on this jam. Great job! Awesome idea and performance!
Very fun and calm game. Thank you!
Amazing game
Unfortunately it crashed (right at the end? When it said "I should think smaller") but I had a blast. The graphics are so gorgeous, but that is to be expected from you guys! Well done :trophy:
Even the doll that misleads is perceived well and fits organically into the game. Perhaps you could add a few more stones and occasionally destroy them for additional variety. It would also be interesting to move objects using nightmares or other sudden events.

Also, I am really impressed by all the vfx! Is there any chance one could take a look at the source code? :D
Very cute game, looks like a great team effort.
Good job !
