I love how I was about to come here commenting "how are those times possible" after getting it in 60 seconds and then 32 seconds... But insteead I gave it one more try and got it in 4.2 secs 😅

Excellent polish around a simple game. Fun physics gameplay trying to get the Dwingle. Art and audio suit the goofy, almost surreal aesthetic. And I made the leaderboard! Fantastic polished and creative entry.

I have my dwingle retrieval strategy down. Proudly 6th on the leaderboard at the time of writing. Great job! Feels like a Warioware game in the best way. Art, music, and (the many instances of) voice acting are all on point. A jam game doesn't need anything else.

Devilishly cute little game — simple yet addictive! I absolutely love the graphics, the credits, and the dwingles overall. My only gripe is that I can’t get those dwingles out fast enough! Splendid work!

Very fun! Everything seemed super polished. I loved the art, the movement, and of course those sweet sweet Dwingles.

A true masterpiece of the modern era. The way the player is able to maneuver their triple jointed finger backwards and forward like a metronome is awe inspiring, and gives me hope for a better future - a future where we are not limited by two jointed appendages, and can with grace and splendour extend into the bottom of a dwingle can to acquire the final chip.

I liked music, theme, idea and visuals so much but its little hard to understand main goal at start.

It doesn't make sense that this game is so much fun. I like that you guys were able to associate the prompt to the bottom of the snack pack, which is really what I usually struggle with when I eating chips! I never thought anyone would make a game like this one out! Genius!

Love this game! it imitaed the exact feel when I am trying to get the last pices of chip! The sound effect is very interesting, too

I am once again not entirely certain why this is so important. It's just very very important. Kind of like throwing batteries into the sea.

Loved it!!

It's a really funny idea, I love all the silly voicelines and the secret easter egg was also super funny, I dedicated the past 20 or so minutes to getting a high score, I am just shy of top 10, maybe if I try a bit more I can get something better lol

One day I'll have an idea for a game that's so simple and so fun. I couldn't get it to go under 4 seconds, so I think I've reached my limit. Rincs' beautiful art always enchants me!

5 in everything, I think it's well deserved.

Congratulations to the team.

PS: Fala aí Pomo!

Seriously creeped out by the long nasty finger. But this is pretty fun! It all works nicely and smooth. I wonder what strategies the leaderboard top 10 used, couldn't get it faster than 7 seconds myself! Great entry Pomo !

Wonderful mix of a rage game and a speedrunning game. Love the art, humor, music, controls, it was all wonderful.

Hehe I loved this, only managed to get a top 60 score on the original (by the name 'Kett'!)
It's very funny and it's got that rage-game feel that is as charming as it is infuriating.

One of the more creative takes on the theme I've seen! While a simple game in it's mechanics, this is very fun to play (especially with the leaderboard, kudos for that) and also very very polished. The graphics and the absurd sound effects totally do it for me lolol

Holy s**t this was intense! I really love the overall polish, the visuals and audio are 5 stars. It's fun and it's funny, 5 stars. The controls are a bit clunky but that's the point and also it's kinda hard lol. But still it's one of the best submissions I've played. Thank you for it!

Had the "dwingleeeees!" special secret audio track stuck in my head afterwards, so thanks for that haha. The game has a lot of character and once you get the hang of it, it's not that frustrating anymore. Thanks for being present in the stream! I suddenly thought I'd just double back because I realized I'd been getting lazy about my reviews so I should maybe come back and like, try to give some actual thoughts beyond "Yeah, I played this obssessively for a bit and it was fun."

The game's a lot of fun, obviously. I think the best level/set of physics was still the OG level. Nothing wrong with that. It just means the original minimalist Jam vision was bang on the money. The singular mechanical focus served it well and combined well with the charm of the visuals and audio and all the shall we say extras of the latter. This is a powerful, high bandwidth dev team. I find in LD it's not unusual for a team where the programmer is overworked and the artists just make piles of great, beautiful assets but the level of project management, sourcing and integration of the extras into a jam game is really something to behold.

Of the v2 levels, I liked Sour Onion and Cooler Ranch most as natural evolutions of the OG. Overall though, v2 physics felt floatier and less controllable and I actually thought it was overall a bit of a downgrade but I do trust something drove the decision, like maybe it allows a broader variety of levels for example. On the OG stage, both controls seemed important (at least the way I did it). For all of the v2 levels, I felt as if my left hand had a lot more to do than my right as the arrow keys were mostly held down to try to give the finger just a tiny bit more tension while I felt compelled to leave all the actual control with the hand and wasd. One of my least favourite things that happens a lot more here is the finger looping over itself and twisting into a knot. Even though this was a feature I used for the Chocolate Cheese level, that was my least favourite level, and it was basically an unrecoverable frustration for all the others.

I think one concrete change I'd propose is to have the timer start on first input rather than immediately after space is hit to reset, to make it faster to cycle into a consistent run opening.

**Conclusion**: Enjoy in moderation. In fact, for the next 4 hours 40 minutes, don't enjoy it at all. Then the LD ratings will close and the leaderboard will suddenly no longer be very very important to me, which is a rule I have made up for myself just now.

...

So yeah, we recently found out that 95% of our game's sounds just did not work at all for reasons. How's everyone else doing?!
