Purarger Collector by thyoi

'Purarger Collector' is a puzzle-sandbox game, where you make burgers, that may or may not conquer the whole world. Also, there's a dog.
⭐️ Sandbox: Make burgers, collect trophies, find secrets.
🍔 Puzzle: Solve complicated burger recipies and progress through the game.
🐶 Starring: Famous dog child.
(...that should be enough ´ω`)

☆ ------------------------------------------------------- ☆
If you make an interesting burger, you can take a screenshot or share the recipe.
I'll add it to the secret menu.XD

Made for Ludum Dare 58.

Thanks for playing!
(That’s a surprise >///<)
SO CUTE with enjoyable gameplay experience, I love the ending.
btw the hidden puzzles are too difficult for me
Follow-up: I also discovered that all items can be placed on the character's head! That's a truly charming little detail.
There are EIGHT hidden trophies?! I'm incredibly impressed. There's so many fun secrets I'll need to play it again to find them.
I recorded myself playing to provide extra feedback. Enjoy!

. >///< Thank you so much for the gameplay video!!
Thiori is super happy!! (Almost no one streamed games on Twitch this Ludum Dare, so this is the first gameplay feedback I got>///< gaaaa)
(The pizza recipe was originally cheese + tomato >///< but after watching, Thiori realized it should actually be ketchup instead >///< the recipe was immediately updated!)

The trick here is to create a stack of 4+ flags between the burgers.

it's a linear equation in two variables
x+y = 8
x+2y = 12
which means 4 single layer sauer and 4 double layer sause
Added! >////<
I'm impressed by the amount of effort spent on visuals and audio feedbacks.
What a great entry

ps: this is my first game jam, but I worked with someone who's been game jams for a while now and back in the day you commented on one of his previous entries. Ever since then you've been considered his GOAT and it would be so funny if I could surprise him with news that you commented on our entry this jam
Want more things from you :D
Such a cozy game
XD
What beautiful art and what great music. I even enjoyed the music while doing other things at work.
I haven't gotten all the achievements yet, but I saved them here so I can get them all!
Congratulations!
It was fun and exciting!!! The downside is that now I'm hungry and want a burger))
Thanks for the game experience! Amazing job!
Anyways fantastic entry!
p.s. I made a plate burger!
I love how everything is intractable. I can't imagine how much time this must have taken! Great job!
I usually try to find something to improve in the games I play, but I honestly couldn't. I feel the pacing was really great - it rewarded me when I sought challenge by solving puzzles, it wasn't trivial, the scope was great for a LD entry.
I loved the humor in particular, but the really "revealing" part of it is when it got to the last puzzle and I noticed screen moving up. This was an "oh boy!" moment, as I really didn't expect it at all. The second floor got me laughing, but it was just the beginning. I love this.
There's not enough stars to give here. I'd be really surprised if this isn't top-1 in at least one category.
Awesome entry. Congrats!
(Thank you for the compliment >///<
(The save feature is probably using cookies. Godot’s saving system is really powerful — you just need to use FileAccess.open to save the file under "user://" and Godot will automatically store it in the appropriate location depending on the platform (for web, it should be in cookies).)
You can find more details about it here.
(It seems that Ludum Dare doesn’t allow links in comments, so you should be able to find it under “Exporting for the Web” in the Godot manual.)
The VOD for the stream is here: (I start playing your game roughly 52min38s into the video)

Also, you can pet the dog! This game has everything.
