Love the artwork in this one, the skelly pieces look charming. The game is quite cohesive in its art, audio, gameplay, and title of the game. Very polished. I feel like it isn't super on theme? Maybe you are collecting skeleton pieces? Overall though a great entry, good work!

Wow this is such a fun game! The music is great, the art is fantastic, and there's lots of unique levels. Excellent job.

@gold-daniel When we started the idea was that the skeleton would start as just a head, collect more body parts and get more abilities. It ended up morphing into this puzzle platformer idea and while the influence of the theme is more subtle, we liked it way too much not to make it! The connection to the theme is that the pieces of the skeleton start scattered, and you need to collect them all in one place to win.

Great game! The polish and having those additional goals for the levels is amazing.

I wasn't too happy with the jumping mechanic and some of the leg levels felt a bit hard in an unfun way - maybe some of the plattforms could have a bit more lenient. I also didn't finish the last level, as one of my legs felt unto the blue button and it seems I hard to start all over again.

But as I previously said, overall this is a great game!

@le-don Thank you for playing! I wish the jumping mechanic had more air control too, but this was a bit difficult to do because of the kicking mechanic. I'll probably patch this after the rating period ends

Great game! Love how polished this is, with animations between levels, objectives in each level, and a interesting premise. I always check out what you've done each jam @fupi and im never disappointed haha

Amazing game!
Super well executed and polished!
Extremely clever game mechanics with the different parts!
Crazy impressive that you not only managed to pull off the look and (hilarious) sounds but also super competent puzzles and level design during the Jam!
Great work 5/5!

Love the unique idea, you could do a lot of intresting interactions with this! As i said on stream, the later puzzles suffer a little bit because you spend a lot of time trying to execute the solution after you found it, but for the rest it's a really really good game design! Great Job!

@eklbirifine Hehe, it's good we managed to evoke that feeling! As the game was starting to really come together I kept thinking that if this were a mobile game I played as a kid, I would've loved it. Thank you!

It's a very vibe and beautiful game. Respect is amazing for the music. But I'm not sure how much the piecemeal assembly of the skeleton fits the theme.

I would be glad if you could play our game.

Excellent game, really interesting combination of mechanics and it makes for some great and interesting puzzles.
Very well polished as well, this could easily have been a steam nextfest demo that I would have wishlisted at the end!

I skedaddled so hard indeed!!! What a fun game, as usual! You have the ability to make pretty complex games feel very approachable and satisfying to play. Its polished at the point that I can see my own reflection in it. The graphics, the music, the soundeffects, the puzzles, the juice. Its all made to perfection and I envy that
How do you do that? Amazing.
Thank you for this wonderful entry

Edit: also wanted to point out that I enjoyed the puns as well :-)

@wouter52 Thank you so much Wouter!! I already have your game saved to play as well later this week! How I did that is actually pretty simple, I just had two amazing talented friends by my side that I meshed with really well <3 This game is equal parts all of us!

Thanks for the gaming experience! In general, the game has potential. I didn't really like the fact that the difficulty of control increases significantly with each level. I would suggest some work on the controls (for example, adding the ability to switch to aiming mode when kicking). There's a feeling like in old games, as if they've chosen inspiration from older games. In fact, the game has the potential to become very cool if it continues to evolve!

Nice mechanics, and the difficulty is really well balanced! It’s quite a challenge to get every coin on each level. And I can’t imagine a better fit for the music, it’s perfect!

Really lovely game! Really creative way of turning the human skeleton into different characters with unique abilities! ALSO the bone sounds are EXCELLENT :ok_hand:

Little numbered icons above the limbs would be nice to easier swap between them. I also found the levels to become a tad tedious to complete. Often times it would be pretty quick to figure out what to do, but then "doing" the actual level was just a lot of slow walking from place to place. Maybe something that can be fixed, or maybe I just need to have a longer attention span hahahaha.

Great entry guys!

Oct 09th · 17:49 UTC
@re-markable Drat, we actually did plan to put number icons above the body parts, I even made the art for it! But in the end I completely forgot xD So sorry! Thank you for playing our game and I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Or having the art ready but the developers are crunching so hard there is no time to implement :skull:

really loved this game! very reminiscent of the classic mobile game era with high energy ost and ui elements.

Some kind of sprint button would be a nice addition, as in certain levels, the slow speed of the skeleton parts made completing it a bit tedious. Other than that, it's a top tier entry!
Taximan981
Oct 10th · 02:50 UTC
Love the idea, great progression of difficulty, only minor thing is it was tedious swapping between the body parts, an icon for number above each part would help with that. Otherwise, love the audio and graphics, great addition!

extremly impressive, i do wish there was a way to quick cycle between the limbs rather than the numbers but its prolly better this way. Nothing else I can really say its really good

This is unbelievably good. Super novel and delightful mechanic, beyond-charming art (my skull’s wince as I kicked it was a nice touch), whimsical and engaging sound and music, clever puzzle design… just extraordinary. One of the most polished LD games I’ve ever seen. Bravo.

![1.png](///raw/cdd/c3/z/6f364.png)

To be honest, i just ragequitted when i realized that i shouldn't have kicked the head to the finish line on the last level.

My only gripes with this one that some of the kicks require quite strict precision (maybe skill issue tho), and it's easy to get lost among the limbs when there are multiple of the same type.

I lost a few times cuz i got used to the head keeping its inertia when you switch to it, while other limbs just lose all their speed.

Also, the last level was a chore, not gonna lie, but oh well, it's the last level after all.

But as everyone agrees here - the game is very polished and leaves only a good impression. Animations, cool take on the theme, progression, overall mood - it's a very solid game! Even the unique loading screen. Thank you for the game!

@100th-coin Holy crap you really went for that 100% huh? :D Congrats!! I watched the whole thing and can definitely see the frustration well up on that last level, thanks for staying determined to see it through!

Oct 10th · 22:46 UTC
@100th-coin You were too kind at the end there! If I had gotten that final level playthrough I'd probably have gone insane. Thank you for still going through it, I loved your enthusiasm! As I said in your comments this video was really valuable, I have a much better idea now of what I need to fix and redesign for the post-jam, so thank you very much!

FIY for the last level you can just kick the skull all the way to the top with the leg, you don't need the dog. That's the faster way to do it! But you probably couldn't see that because of the bug that makes the arc shorter. Unfortunately that messed things up a lot.

Very fitting thematically for this time of year. The menu and ui felt very polished and responsive. It was pretty hard to accurately kick the head sometimes, which felt a little frustrating at times when combined with the time element. "Down the scares" made me laugh. I wish there was a quick swap button to cycle through parts more easily. Overall a nicely polished little game :)
Fupi
Oct 11th · 02:42 UTC
@nomelu Thanks for playing! You can just click on the body parts on the map to swap, it's faster than using the keyboard

Incredibly charming entry! It's simple and easy to grasp premise, with great controls and pitch-perfect music and sound design. Perfect graphics for the vibe, a shocking variety of level design, and a genuinely engaging mechanic. One of the most well-rounded entries I've seen - great work!

God, that final level. What a nightmare. XD I know how to solve it, but it's so time-consuming when you make a mistake ^_^;

Everything about this game is fantastic from top to bottom - feels like one of the classics I might've played on Kongregate back in the day. No way in hell am I trying for those time scores, though. XD The concept is brilliant, but I wish that aiming the kicks was a little less finicky!

Oh wow, astoundingly perfect! I had a great time speedrunning the levels while humming the theme! (Still running in the back while I'm writing this, I love it! The xylophone tiptoeing around me in cirles is \**chef's kiss*\* ^^)

Great idea for a game! And you made it absolutely gorgeous looking, amazing sounding, with fantastic level design, including the level progression, it plays really smoothly, and is polished and cohesive as heck. Had a lot of fun! Oh and yes...

:)

For me, level 7 was probably the most difficult to get thumbs. People seem to have trouble with level 14, but it was alright for me (wasn't too easy - felt like a final level, but wasn't too hard, I came up with a route and just did it, all the precise kicking is at the beginning anyways).

Oct 24th · 18:54 UTC
I'm really impressed at how polished and juicy this is for a Ludum Dare entry, as well as how many levels you were able to pack into it. Unfortunately, I struggled a *lot* at figuring out the ideal trajectories; it took me about fifty tries to beat Level 5, and I had to give up entirely on Level 7 because I just have absolutely no idea how you're supposed to get to that button. I think that's just a "me" problem, though, and my only complaint about it is that I wish I could have experienced all 14 levels.

Very well done! I'm sure this'll rank highly.
Fupi
Oct 24th · 19:44 UTC
@f1krazy We are aware of a bug that makes the arc of the kick way shorter in some machines, probably due to refresh rates over 60hz. This probably messed you up! The arc is supposed to be long enough that you don't have to guess the trajectory, you can just look at it. In case you wanna try again, check if you can change your monitors refresh rate to 60hz, we're gonna fix this after the jam is over! Really sorry for this
TheLastSlowpoke
Oct 25th · 04:42 UTC
@fupi

Oh, that makes a lot of sense that the arc length (and accuracy btw) is a bug  It felt like kicking is a lot more difficult than the rest of the game ^^ Congrats on awesome results!
