After death, you don't actually have to press the Restart button to keep playing! Your ghost self fights for you, presumably.
I wish there was more challenge or final boss fight. The chest enemy trap was funny! I think some simple sound effects would be a low-hanging fruit to make the game more engaging. Even some simple BFXR beeps.
I just think it would be better to not have to click on each sword to collect them to go on the next level. Also when you die, you can still attack and kill the the enemy (when you restart after that, your character is not here anymore and you can't play.
But even with this two thing the game was fun ! I genuinely want more sword and enemy to see and have even more fun.

The gameplay is very simple: use the mouse, then just click, keep clicking. What's a bit strange is that each enemy's drops are completely random. Clearly, I defeated an opponent with 3000 health, but I still got a copper sword (nothing else besides the sword). The whole game seems to be set in endless mode, and each time the enemy's health doubles—that’s all there is.
Some suggestions:
- Give the player the same hit animations; you have already done this for the enemies. Doing the same for the main character can better show that you are in combat.
- Open the display of the box to make the scene slightly richer, moving away from a simple falling animation.
- Maybe have a few more attack detection buttons? For example, typing could trigger an attack, or the mouse wheel could attack? That would make the left mouse button easier to use. This point like @mr-mesmer show img.
Anyway, thank you for bringing this cute cat! I’m also giving you one in return.

Solid idea, I think if each chest gave you three options (a random sword and two random upgrades for example) that allows you to modify the gameplay in some way I think this could evolve into something super fun and engaging. Could be something to consider as a post-jam development goal
I thought I was invincible but then another opponent killed me.
Why am I collecting this swords? Because I can!
In the end some chest defeated me. Good game ^_^
Well done.
