The cards are funny, and the physics are very satisfying. I also loved the sfx. I wish there was a bit more gameplay though.

Love it, scratching the itch of ripping some packs!
Really impressive that you made that many unique cards for the jam!
I couldn't get the card codes to copy to my clipboard for some reason, and eventually ran out of packs to rip so I got stuck but I really wanted to finish my collection :cry:

I think you did a great job with the theme. A collectable card game is perfect. I think you did a good job with the feeling of opening packs and looking through for new ones. I was mostly frustrated when the the phone rang, but I appreciated rolling out the information slowly. I really didn't want to type in the codes to the printer, they were extremely long and I couldn't copy/paste it from the log. I like that you can press the buttons on the phone.

Thank you all for your kind words !! Glad you enjoy the card designs :)

@braeden and for just anyone looking for an extra hedge to their collection, try putting this code in the printer : _gABIhGvsgMKzXfUqA

If you miss some specific cards, perhaps some other players have doubles they could share :-)
The game is saved so your collection is safe here if you come back later

Supercool idea. Great sprite work.

I Need to come back when I get some friend on to test out the full experience.

Really unique experience :thumbsup:

One of the interesting experiences. I don't have friends so i don't shared with them my code cards. Or may be i didn't want. But keeping virtual collection of some cards that i don't took in my hands but wanted to try is very interesting!

Such a cool idea and it just hits the spot for me, as I'm currently knee deep in a collecting Magic the Gathering cards addiction :sweat_smile: .
Nice game, fancy art and so many different card designs with images and descriptions, very impressive! My favourites are Seal of Approval, Sputnik and :

Hahaha, I just woke up!

Are you looking for any specific card numbers, @robin-schmitz ? (I’ve got an actual game running right now.)

I’m personally hunting for #19 and #22 to complete a page!

Here are some medium-quality cards I have duplicates of:

The art is perfect and I feel that you captured the appeal of card collecting perfectly. The opening and getting new cards is cool. It's impressive how many cards there are.

This is probably the best card collecting game I've played this jam, the art is so good and it's funny too! I like the code sharing aspect too
Marcus Otterstrom
Oct 10th · 01:59 UTC
This game is awesome! I really like the multiplayer aspect of it. And I don't even know how you managed to draw 100+ cards in this short amount of time! And so much polish too.

Would have been nice if codes didn't contain 0O and Il1 to make them easier to read & write. Oh and if the audit log could show the number (not just the name) would make it easier as well! :)

@loiclegrosfrere here's #19 (`EwADCuluzx20H7m9SA`) and #22 (`FgAApj-Jgm4HLcEitw`) for you! Let me know if it doesn't work, I had to type it out manually since I played the web version :smile:

Putting some more that I shredded below. Got lots of duplicates so let me know if anyone else is missing something.
- #6 - `BgAEPbMU7vnIg5vA2g`
- #19 - `EwAEHkfstjel_fHDiw`
- #21 - `FQAEAa0f08HSIalOgw`
- #28 - `HAAH6aeQMIHEVp3iLW`
- #35 - `IwAFFpqYelb8YK_1og`
- #44 - `LAAH9bjHkgn0mDqz3Q`
- #54 - `NgAA51cXCkbQbDNF_Q`
- #64 - `QAAIlTmnaaWl3j2ihg`
- #71 - `RwAIlbH58dhh947Aig`
- #85 - `VQAHO4ZobQ2VBdHaKQ`
- #91 - `WwAIh1bBYoBQ5ieu5g`
- #107 - `awAHLKV8EqkGL_CO-g`

I'm mainly looking for 5, 7, 24, 92, 96, 108 to complete some more pages :)

@robin-schmitz @marcus-otterstrom
Okay, I’ve got good and bad news! The bad news is… you probably lost your collection :crying_cat_face:

BUT the good news is: COPY/PASTE IS WORKING NOW!!! :tada:

And since your save got nuked, you can just reuse the codes you already posted here!

So I guess the moral of the story is: sometimes, shredding your cards is the best way to keep them close to your heart :heart:

(Also, I’m now looking for cards #4, #29, #39, #63, and #69!)
Marcus Otterstrom
Oct 10th · 13:11 UTC
I like the new placement of the machines! Makes it easier to sort things :) Nice job on the copy-pasting.

Here's #69 for you @loiclegrosfrere: `RQAFkP-j1bnmbfvuNA`

I'm looking for 20, 60, 70, 75, 88, and 93 currently.
Marcus Otterstrom
Oct 10th · 14:59 UTC
Yay! It said something about a code but it wasn't copied to my clipboard. Lovely game, I recruited a friend to complete it :smile:

Super solid card collection game.
Very impressive that you decided to integrate a social component in the short time frame of a jam game. You definitely succeeded on that part! There is already so much engagement in the comments.
Here are some codes I got that have been asked for:

* #29 `HQAFtLlq0MRE9kSojg`
* #39 `JwEF_AkYE6ToLrjaxg`
* #60 `PAAGJ4XA_88W0XoQ0Q`
* #69 `RQAFfKtwZP4nwlzGdg`
* #70 `RgADZLv8apoJwfD1UA`
* #88 `WAAELum4OfCxjjU2kA`
* #93 `XQAHpZHIqV0okgJWjA`

Also one question - how does rarity work? I noticed that each card can have a rare (shiny) variant as well. Is that information also shared via the codes? Do shiny cards have separate codes? If so, collecting all shiny card codes will be the real community goal!
tatawanda
Oct 10th · 15:23 UTC
Ahah, indeed @andreas-roschal ! Shiny variant are shared throught code as well. The true ending is collecting all the shiny ones :D

Great idea with collecting cards. It would look great at communication servers orevents.
I would like to fill out the cards myself.
I'd also like to see buttons on the telephone and printer that actually do something.

Damn this is addicitive haha. Love the descriptions of the cards, there are some funny ones in there! The concept of sharing cards is very cool. I'm a technical guy so I like to ask technical questions 😁 How did you ensure that the collecion cannot be complete without getting the cards from others? Are there for instance 5 random cards that can never be spawned in by the game?

I have a lot of codes here 🙊

@wouter52
Thanks for the codes! I only need 3 more cards now (#82, #83, and #94) :tada:

Feel free to ask if you need any, I still have plenty of duplicates!

About the technical question: nope, we don’t :smile:

If you’re *very* lucky, you can complete your collection without trading… but it’s pretty unlikely!
We hesitated about limiting the card pool, but in the end, we didn’t, has it could feel unfair or confusing for players.

So we decided to trust the RNG gods instead!

After some playtesting, we usually ended up with around 50–75 cards in binder in solo runs, so it felt pretty good overall!

Really nailed the theme and not just the act, but the feeling, of collecting. Looks gorgeous as well, and the card sharing idea is very cool. Great entry!

Amazing idea with the codes, what a cool way to make the game multiplayer without having to worry about people being online at the same time to experience it together! It perfectly ties into the core theme around trading too, not to mention the collecting angle. Honestly a really solid entry for the jam, fantastic work all around! :D

A crazy way to open cards, and collecting them through different codes, plus a printer—everything is so cool. I absolutely have to give an innovation rating of 5/5!

It's really impressive that you were able to create over a hundred different drawings during the jam! Looking forward to you continuing to add them in the future!

Wow, that was awesome! I had such a good time with this. Now I totally get how collecting cards can be so addictive, haha. I was just 15 cards away from completing the set! The silly card descriptions cracked me up (cucaracha assassina is genius), and the goofy art style and color palette were perfect. Solid 5/5 from me. Congrats! Keep up the good work!
