Success!

![ss.jpg](///raw/8d0/41/z/6e745.jpg)

Couldn't find that pesky last one, but I'm counting this as a win. :) I had fun figuring out how to exploit the AI to win, and it also felt like cheating — in a funny way — to pick marbles up off the ground and wager those for the cooler ones. The character designs were also very charming. Well done!

I do wish there was a little more to the actual marble gameplay, since once I figured out the winning strategy, it was just a matter of repeating it. Even just randomizing where you and the opponent spawn could help.

You don’t need to post asking for ratings.
Just play and rate other games and the system suggests your game to be played next.

Nice game!
Loved the graphics "paper mario style", very beautiful.
Nice VFXs too! A bit too much screenshake for my take haha
Managed to get the last marble!

Nice graphics and animation! It's great to see more 3D games with a polished style. I didn't mind the screenshake at all. It added to the tension.

this is so cute! i love the graphics, and the gameplay really put me back in school pour une petite partie de billes dans la cours sur la plaque d'égout !
Super boulot, bravo !

It looks amazing, I love the style! I almost went for the exact same take on the theme actually (changed last minute for trading cards). The end of duel SFX is very nice. It's lacking a bit a variations between fights but that would be hard to do in a week end. Good job!

The character design and animation are absolutely amazing!!!
I really like your artistic style.
The sound effects are also very suitable! It's hard to believe that it was completed in just 72 hours.
That's amazing!
We also welcome everyone to play our game!

To be honest, I don't think this type of collection is very good.

My balls are always quickly devoured by higher-level ones or accidentally fall into the middle. Intuitively, there should at least be a way for balls to collide and bounce (between different levels) before determining the winner.

Otherwise, it's obvious that whenever I want to see what special balls are left to collect, my backpack doesn't even have the basic balls. So I have to start from scratch. This is quite disappointing and frustrating.

The above requirements might be too harsh for Jam, but if you need to optimize your game, you can try improving the points mentioned above. Good luck!

Let's go another marble game! We also did one
Had fun on the game and ended up collecting all of them, at first it was a bit of a pain and then it became more something like baiting the ai.

Nice visuals effect on the collision and when each marble collides, but it kinda feels a bit too powerful compared to the board I think

Loved the character designs, a lot of personality in each of them, animations too, ambitious to animate most of them like that !

I want to play it, but it basically won't run on my mac in any browser. My whole computer starts to take off like a rocket ship. I like the art style, so I want to play it one day.

Liked the character designs a lot. Managed to collect all the marbles by being conservative and just ruining the lives of the younger kids and hoarding their marbles like a dragon before challenging up. Really wished there were a couple of different board types to play on, once I found a strategy that worked most games ended up feeling the same. I like the zoom in as the marbles come close before hitting but wanted there to be some sound effect to really make those moments feel more exciting. I wish there was a way to wager more than one marble at a time, because earning a stock to be able to reach the next marble tier was sometimes a grind. Definitely rough around the edges in Jam form but I can see the definitely see the interesting potential for things to be explored with more development time.

Thanks for uploading! I was pretty bad at it, but it was a fun time that I really think could be expanded on a lot if you wanted to. I think the school yard vibe is perfect for the mood and the character designs are really expressive! The minigame itself was pretty interesting, but I kinda felt left wanting more from the wager part of it. There were a couple times I was able to fight (and earn higher level marbles) without wagering anything of my own, too. Really dig this, and am looking forward to if you decide to work on it some more!

Also, I managed to get stuck in this one area, too.![marblesStuck.png](///raw/f1a/1/z/6f70c.png)

The web build doesn't start for me. Nothing happens when I press Start or Options in the menu. If I press Quit the music stops but nothing else happens. Just giving you a heads up. Images look really nice!

Well that was just awesome: the blending of 2D and 3D works really nice, the artstyle is cute, I felt like a kid again haha
Unfortunately I couldn't find the last marble (Epic one that is not a galaxy) but it was really cool!!

Guys, the web build doesn't work both here and on the Itch.io website :(

@lesdremlet @bryceltaylor I'm sorry to hear that, but it works fine for us on both the LD website and itch.io. Which browser did you try it on ? You can still play the downloadable version if the web one still doesn’t work. Sorry that it disappointed you :disappointed:

@praccen I'm sorry to hear that too  It’s working fine for us. Which browser did you try it on ? The “Options” button doesn’t work because we didn’t have time to implement it properly, and the “Quit” button doesn’t work in the web build because there’s technically nothing to quit, you just have to close the browser window. You can still play the downloadable version. Thanks for your kind message though !!

@yibirabbit007 Sorry you didn’t like it! I’m afraid I didn’t completely understand your feedback, but when you bet some marbles, if you win the fight you keep them, you only lose them if you’re defeated.
Anyway, thanks for your feedback

@pimeko @zactyl @kinnerk @alpharius-003 @nomus @lianyi @faust-mi @mamboman @tony-li @revetoon @caeonosphere Thanks everyone for all the amazing feedback !! :heart:

@hugohil Thanks a lot for your gentil message !

@yorsh Thank you!! It’s funny, we actually had the exact opposite process: we started with a card collection and ended up choosing marbles instead

This is adorable, good number of sprites and marbles to check out. It was pretty easy to cheese the computer players to beat them, maybe a bit of variety in how the CPUs and different marbles play to switch up the progression would be cool. Good game!

Characters are amazing, I even wanted a full game about these characters (but without the marbles as a core mechanics)! But the marbles controls felt a bit uncomfortable for me

Great visuals and amazing character design, with a pleasant soundtrack. The whole concept is pretty interesting but core marbles mechanic needs more attention to improve.
PS: the web build seems broken - I couldn’t get past the main menu.
