I think with a bit of tuning and easing into things, this could be a great game!
I was unfortunately not very good at figuring out how each insect feels about the flowers, but it's certainly got a fun cute mood to it!
Going to my coworker's seahorse's funeral killed me... quite hilarious.
Unfortunately, I'm not a good english speaker and I fail everytime :'(
Is the "inforamtion" at the left could be used ? I didn't success if yes !
From the game side, only things I'd mention would be I'd prefer if the hint menu was on a keybind or at least closed on pressing any keyboard key, since I opened it quite often and that the textboxes in the later levels were hidden behind the flowers, tho this may have been intentional.
All in all **absolutely** loved it! Well done!
I didn't quite get the gameplay - the bugs never gave any feedback on why they liked/didn't like my answers, and it seemed like there was a lot of ambiguity. (Is the non-coloured text important? Why do some emotions share colours? How do I decide how many flowers to put in? How is the game scored? etc.) It didn't help that during scoring, the description didn't always seem to match what the hint book said about the flowers.
Overall though, I do like the idea of a puzzle game where you have to deduce emotions from dialogue, and it just needed a bit more clarity. Plus, the visuals are extremely well-done. Congrats!
it would be useful if the clues were a bit more clear, I did decent in the first half, but when all the flowers got added the text got covered, which made that one order impossible to read. that's also around the time when i started finding the clues for the orders a bit too vague
I think the game is good! It just needs to be a little more clear and specific what emotions the customers are trying to communicate imo. The colors help but sometimes they aren't enough, the wording itself pretty vague at times
