MOON MESSAGE

A calm decoding puzzle game with a hopeful story.

:warning: While playing the game I noticed an encryption mistake I made in the 7th puzzle (which appears to be bade64 code). So if you’re stuck at this puzzle, here’s the solution: Spoiler: !> I don’t know if I can trust you.

Fun little decription game, and love the art style

I like the mood of this game: meditative and calm. It stands in contrast to the mental concentration required. I wish you could provide an ASCII table in the game, or use simpler codes. I liked solving the reversed-letters message, it was easy enough. Then again, maybe I am just intellectually slothful. The idea of being on the moon and receiving cryptic messages is a good one.

The art style is really nice.
It is a bit of work to decode the messages
Great job!

@matt2728 thank you for playing and the feedback! Yeeeeah I think it might been a little too hard and takes more time to play than I imagined haha, gotta keep that in mind in the future

@gamebuilder thanks so much for the feedback! I think a complete ASCII table would make a great addition! I appreciate it a lot :v:

@sam-horner thanks a lot, so happy you enjoyed it!

Really enjoyed the slower pace with solving the puzzles, but I got stuck of Puzzle 6 I think, it was morse code and am sure it said
!>I found a sanctuary

Maybe I'm just being a dumb dumb but I for the life of me could not figure it out. I got all the other puzzles just not that one. But don't let my ineptitude take away from the fact that this is a really cool puzzle game with a pretty interesting story. Well done.

That was pretty neat, relaxing atmosphere. I think others interpret signal as sth you need to rush into, so it was nice change of a pace. And music was pretty complementary in that, tho it stopped playing at some point.

For a long time I didn't play with any ciphers so it was also nice to do that again but I would recommend in ceaser page to remind player about how whole alphabet really looks like lmao. Also page with ascii didn't contain **space**, would be helpful if we don't wanna send players to look at wikipedia.

Other than that I would also make **enter** send the signal, and I think UI could be improved if notebook was moved away from the screen so we could better see the signal. OR if the intention is too not do writing and looking simultaneously, then I would move it more to the center to hide the screen better. Because for now it's in this awkward zone inbetween.

Pretty sure I reached the same signal as @wizard and couldn't figure out how to progress further.
