This time at Ludum Dare 34 we decided to dive into with the history of the Roman empire. After long hours of research, we found out that the popular knowledge of ancient European history is based upon great misconceptions. In this educational game, we try to teach the player about how the conquests and the rise of the Roman empire actually happened.

In this game you're playing the imperator of the Roman empire. There are 7 different regions in Europe and around meditteranean sea you can conquer. You win the game by conquering them all. Furthermore, during our research we gained previously unknown knowledge about the Roman empire. A collection of some of the new facts (5 facts) is presented during the loading screen.

Very cool game.
Some music and some more sound effects would be an improvement.
But this is definitely the funniest game I played so far.
There is one minor flaw. The ball got stuck between Asia and Africa two times. That is quite frustrating, when you almost beat the game and then you have to reset everything.

LOL that was a lot of fun! My only beef is that a pinball game should include some kind of "bump" mechanic. :-)

Surprisingly, I have not found another pinball yet on this LD. This one works well, and is funny, well done. :)
