The bumping into the wall thing was also funny. :smiley_cat:
It's so cute. I think the intention was to make something horror-themed. But it just sounded like a cute dark game. I thought the mechanic of looking at the "little lights" to know if you could pass or not was really cool. Sometimes there was nothing you could do, so, goodbye life. :)
Your pixel art graphics are beautiful and polished. I don't really like animations that distort pixel art. I prefer the sprite switching, like in old video games, but that doesn't reflect in your animations. It's just a matter of taste.
The music tries to create a horror atmosphere and it's well done, but as I said, your game is cute. Maybe the music broke the cuteness a bit.
I also liked how the map appears. The animations of the darkness fading away look very beautiful and fluid.
At first I found the way the character walks a little strange, but as soon as I encountered the first enemy I understood why.
A great game that, honestly, I don't understand why it has so few reviews.
Have you tried posting it for streamers to play? I'm sure you would increase your ratings considerably. It's a very good game.
Congratulations!

The levels had a nice difficulty progression, gradually becoming more complex over time.
The first fly over the minimap is a great detail. I also like the little changes on the main character through the time.
The graphics, combined with the great music and sound effects, created such a wonderful mood. You absolutely nailed the atmosphere. :)
I actually really like the contrast between cuteness and creepiness.
The player feedback is nicely done as well. You can feel the impact when you walk into a wall, and the “danger zones” are shown in a subtle but effective way. Really great job. One of my favorite games in this jam. Played it two times now. :)
The atmosphere and presentation is very moody and the game-play feels fun and polished. The "threat"-indicators of enemies were a bit confusing at first, but once I realized how they work I found them well put together.
At first I thought they'd be movement indicators/boundaries similar to Fire Emblem. I like the way how the flashing-rate increases relative to the approaching attack. It made some of the enemies feel quite menacing.
The lore was quite vague and minimal which probably elevated the mysterious undertone of the experience.

Keep on jamming!
Great art style.
