Signals Under Siege by Gmax Games
The Idea
You are an isolated soldier outside a besieged city in WWII, with an incredibly intense job. You must relay information from command operators to guide trains in to the city (marked in red on the map) to help relieve the siege.
By getting trains to the destination without hitting blockages, you earn time on the clock and points. If a train hits a blockage, you lose time and points! If your timer drops to 0, the city falls, and the game ends!
How to play
I apologise for the lack of a tutorial, time pressure! Please read carefully!
Basics
You can walk around your tent, and interact with three key items - The Phone(closest) - The Map (middle) - The Telegraph (farthest)
There is also a radio, which will give basic information when a train arrives, when a blockage is resolved, etc.
You can interact with any of these items by walking towards them and facing towards the desk they are on.
In short: Get information from phone calls -> mark this on the map -> find a route that works -> change the points to this route (via morse code).
The Phone
The phone will ring, shown by it vibrating. You must pick up the phone, which will display a message e.g. "Blockage on the route A-B".
The Map
The map displays all trains' positions, and the settings of each junction.
Directions in green are where the train will head when it hits that junction. In red are the tracks that a newly spawned train will take.
From the bottom right, you can drag a new marker on to the map, which can be used to mark blockages using information from the phone. You can remove the markers by right clicking on them.
The Telegraph
If there is a blockage on the current route, the train will be destroyed and you will take a penalty!
You must therefore divert the train. You can do this with the telegraph in morse code. To change the direction of a junction:
- Tap out the sequence for SET (..././-)
- Tap out the letter of the junction you'd like to change
- Tap out the number of the direction you'd like to change it to.
So a sequence becomes something like e.g. “SETA2” or “SETB3”
To tap out a sequence, a dot is a short tap on the spacebar, and a dash is a long press on the spacebar. Wait after tapping out a sequence to form the letter. Press R to reset your message, and ENTER to send the message. The sequences for each letter and number are on notes left and right of the telegraph!
This is complex, I understand, but I spent far too long trying to make it work nicely!
The Radio
The radio may say that a blockage has cleared. Keep an eye out for these announcements. If they are, be sure to keep track of this on the map!
Notes
I had great fun developing this, and I'm going to continue to. It was far too many systems to make work nicely with audio and a proper tutorial missing for now. My first thought was train signals, but that later developed in to morse code and translating all of this information under time pressure. The balance may be a little tricky for now, but once you understand the systems, it gets rather intense very quickly. If you have any confusions, let me know and I'd be happy to clarify. Enjoy!

I couldnt figure out how to move the track or re route the trains. im guessing it had something to do with the morse code telegraph bit but the tutorial button didnt open anything. might check it out again later.
Nice game though, I wish I could actively play it :)
