yo guys, managed to get a couple days off work on the 18th and 20th so I got 2 days I’m leaving the game as it is now, w/o hotfixes. That's fair!

first time doing LD and honestly I had a great time. hope you give it an honest rating!

I really like the core idea of the game, even if it’s still pretty light on content rn.

I deposited 2 hedgehogs and a frog, interesting!

The game seems to work, but the rules are unclear.
Could you please write how to play on the ld / itch page ?

placeholders for animals missing, not clear what animal do what. too much empty space. lack of fullscreen mode.

The atmosphere is very vibrant, the gameplay is simple and exciting. Like

using owl with +100 payout is very effective during first rounds, but near round 20 its a little too hard in my opinion. Nice concept nonetheless, but just a little more variation of would be a great improvement :)

Very cute little animals :'3 I like how the whole game look overall and it has a very good idea: do not gamble xd I lost everything and I took a loan to play more!!! Make me stop

And on a bit of a serious note: to have some more explanation before first run would be very helpfull. Also in the future if you feel like adding some more animation (tweens) and sounds - that could be a very juicy thing!

Вообще не понял как играть, но радость от выигрыша больших сумм все равно оставило очень положительный эффект) хотя я проиграл 70к) теперь понятно за что люди любят казино-лайки)

Great concept and idea! This could make for a cool incremental game. I really enjoyed your game and the art style. I hope you’ll polish it based on feedback and release it on Steam, as it has the potential to be an engaging experience for streamers.

I think you should consider adding more expressive emotions for the animals and some kind of visual feedback when they are sold. But overall, the idea is very interesting I’d definitely play a game like this on Steam.

I failed at round 15. This was a pretty fun gambling game! I loved the characters, they are so cute, and overall the polish like small tooltips and clear explanations.

Cute animals and presentation, played some rounds, won some money, then lost all the money. Basically the expected outcome of gambling. Was a little unclear what should be really done in terms of strategy.

Cool concept and have great potential. I keep using a owl-fox-hedgehog combination and survive quite a long time. I'd love to see some furthur exploration on variety of animals, limitation of using them, and different types of gamble.

I love the idea of recruiting little animal friends to gamble for you, with some more variety this could be a fun rouge-like. The frog is my favorite, seeing him go gamble over and over was great.

Please fix the bug that makes the animals always sad

Cute game and I like it! I don't really know what makes them win or lose though...

like the style of this painting and the setting of the little animals. It's very cute! The cute little frog...

This is awesome! I think it could benefit from some UX to on the animals when you hover to say what they do. The art is really nice as well.

I liked how cute the animals are! I survived for 30 rounds, I guess I got lucky 😁 The game seems to be entirely based on luck with very little strategy involved. I think the font is too distracting and difficult to read.

Cute stuff! I love all the animals. I couldn't resist sending frog out with 100% deposit every now and then (it was my eventual downfall!)

I think I was on round like 160 or something when it failed. I couldn't read the numbers for a while. Team owl + hedgehog + fox

That's a fever dream, and definitely a stretch for the theme, but there's definitely a there there to keep me dragging around those sad little animals for 20 minutes

Interesting concept. Needs some more dev time, but I like the direction.

Really fun gameplay. It feels great to make a profit from gambling, haha. I like the art style; the crying animals are adorable.

This is as far as I got before my forest friends financially ruined me.

I love the depressing atmosphere of the game and how the animals express the emotional rollercoaster of gambling. I spared the frog from the horrors of gambling addiction and left him smiling in the corner of the screen, oblivious to what was happening to all his friends.

seems interesting! i wasnt 100 percent sure what the animals did, but i managed to get to 6000 by going all in all the time with either mouse hedgehog fox or mouse hedgehog frog. would be interested in seeing it expanded!

Found this one a little confusing. The only strategy I found that worked was to wait for the "solo gets +100" signal, and then play the owl over and over to keep that one.

This was fun to play! I like that the frog is the chaotic outlier, mine gambled three times in a row and brought in the big bucks very randomly

Really fun game ! Like to see all those animals falling in tears because of my millions dollars's all in :P

I didn't really get it, I kind of just randomly selected animals and after 5 minutes had all of the moneys. Im unsure how this fits the theme as well. The owl "saves" the current signal for next round but I don't know what that means or what the signal is. I do like the art style of the game, and the audio is really nice too.

Fun game, I made it to level 33 with a high 6-figure balance... but then lost it all with some silly bets. I had fun though (because it wasn't my money :eyes:). I did feel like I kept playing the same hedgehog-fox-mouse combo over and over, and didn't really feel like the signals encouraged me to swap it up. Also I think it would have been nice to see the probabilities of the different enemies, which might have further encouraged switching it up. Fun idea, nice game, good job! :D

Would love to see a tutorial before the first game to help players understand what moves they can actually make. The game has this interesting atmosphere, somewhere between calm, helplessness, and depression. Also, the font was quite small for me. Had to zoom in on the itch.io page as a workaround

this community is something else! Honestly didn't expect to get this much solid feedback,
truly appreciate it!
Keeping the build raw and janky as a little memento so no hotfixes for now.
Already super hyped for the next jam, see y'all then!

I consider myself a gambling mentor, honestly!

The gameplay is really fun, though at the beginning I spent a little while trying to find where the deposit button was. It was a bit hard to see, but of course, that didn’t stop me from becoming the luckiest player.

This is super cute! I love all the animals and the whole vibe of the world, I hated making them all so sad though haha. As much as I love the rainbow text visually, I did struggle a bit to read it, but I blame my bad eyes for that. Great mood overall and nice work both of you!
