Average League by N.O.X
In Average League you are the operator behind the city’s emergency hero spotlight. When trouble breaks out, it is YOUR job to call the right hero.
The catch is that these heroes do not save the world with super strength, or cosmic powers. Their abilities are much more specific, much more ordinary, and sometimes strangely perfect for the situation.
Your roster is filled with gloriously mundane heroes.
One can tear the fabric of space to shift grandmas to the other side of the street.
One can instantly locate a missing sock.
One can plug in a USB stick the right way on the first try…
Your mission is to search through the heroes directory, find the hero needed for the job, recreate their logo, and cast it into the night sky before things get out of hand.
In a city full of oddly specific problems, only oddly specific heroes can save the day.

HOW TO PLAY
To complete a mission, you have to re-create the logo of the hero displayed on the top left of the screen.
The game is divided on 4 screens :
Bottom --> Hero book with all the necessary Informations.
Left --> Cut the shape of the displayed hero's logo into the circle (get at least 50% accuracy) .
Right --> Change the color of the light to match it with the displayed hero's logo.
Center --> Manage the battery of the spotlight projector, its position into the sky and its sharpness.
Once the mission is completed (or failed), go back to the center screen to start the next mission!

CONTROLS
WASD / ZQSD -> Move between screens
QE / AE -> Scroll the pages in the hero book
Mouse Left Clic -> Interact

But overall super innovative and awesome!!
I think being able to actually see the shape (or maybe parts of it) would make the difficulty reasonable. As it is it was just totally beyond me.
But I see other players managed to do it, so maybe that's just me.
Overall, great gameplay, character design, art, music! Good work.
I just have one question for you: why does mixing red and green produce orange? :D
Let's just put that down to a lack of sleep, haha
Well done for spotting that

I admit the game is a bit too difficult ^^
I would've liked some kind of goal or ending (at least I don't think there is one. I only played until getting each hero once).
Took me a minute to understand the drawing, once it clicked, that was cool.
I do wonder how you programmed it to match the drawing :D
Nice art style. Good humor.
Most of all, I like the concept. Gamifying the super hero signal... what a unique idea.
Great job, one of my favorites this Jam :)
We're aware the onboarding is the least polished aspect of the game, we ran out of time unfortunately haha
My only suggestion is that it feels like this game should have an ending, I kept going for a while since I thought there would be an ending but never ended up hitting one.. Alternatively, you could make the game get harder as it goes on (after you get the hang of it and learn all the character signals/colours, the only challenge is getting the signal on the cloud)
Awesome work on this, I had a fun time overall!!
The art is really great—I especially like how you designed your itch.io page.
