Signal Fish Tank by A HEROIC DOG

[raw]
made by A HEROIC DOG for Ludum Dare 59 (JAM)

What kind of fun can we have with Signal and Fishbowl? Let's create a fishbowl you'll never get bored of, and spend a fun day with some noisy fish! This game actually started as an idea of mine two months ago. I'm super happy to get it done within this time! Even though there are still some rough edges, it's a really great start for me.tank1.pngtank2.png url:https://aheroicdog.itch.io/signal-tank

There's no download link on itch.io. I didn't find a way to play it but judging from the youtube video, it looks like a chill idle game. Do the fish grow when you feed them?

Sorry! You can download it via the link now. The fish grow when you feed them, but it takes a whole lot of food to see a difference.

Love the visuals on this one, letting the border of the window be the glass is a nice touch, leaving it open while I play other games :)

Мне очень понравился стиль игры! Но тяжело понять, куда нужно нажимать. Также было бы здорово иметь возможность растянуть аквариум на весь экран и сохранять прогресс игрока.

I really loved the Frutiger Aero aesthetic! The glossy visuals and the overall vibe of the fish tank are very nostalgic and pleasant to look at. Buying different items, from coral to sharks and even plastic bottles, is a fun idea for a tycoon-style game.

I ran into a physics bug where fish started teleporting outside the tank when it got too crowded. Also, I wasn't quite sure what the purpose of feeding or using the vacuum was—adding some UI hints or a simple tutorial would help! Lastly, I'm curious about the connection to the 'Signal' theme, as it wasn't very clear to me. Great job on the visuals!
