Are We Zer Yet? by TheRealOrb

[raw]
made by TheRealOrb for Ludum Dare 59 (JAM)

It is cosmic rush hour! Drive a space taxi and deliver wacky aliens to their destination by following the signal.

WASD for movement, headphones preferred.

If the web version doesn't work on the ldjam site check the itch version.

Few minor bug fixes are happening every now and then, nothing major.

Game got stuck pointing at a planet after delivering few passangers. Overall nice experience and the character design is excellent.

Intresting experience. the Audio volume changing suddenly is a bit annoying.

I really liked all the detailed aliens and worlds, also i noticed that the game is randomly generated which i also liked^^ Also the end screen killed me xD

it's cool, a taxi driver simulator in space. In my opinion, it would be cool to add some kind of danger and something like a store with updates

Nice entry! I liked the concept. It kinds of reminds me of Outer Wilds with how you have to follow music signal coming from different planets. Goodt job!

I liked it, but find it rapidly repetitive to get a guy, bring them to somewhere and repeat

The embedded doesn't seem to load, but I played the downloadable version.

I think the art style is pretty cool. Despite being rush hour, there isn't any traffic to avoid. Also, the controls are very basic and a bit boring. If you had to accelerate and decelerate, I think it would have added more interest.

liked the art, but game has some small minor issues like camera is too slow to follow player,
the cabin view is fun and i like the alien designs, but the position of it is a little bit akward and creates issues when moving towards south-east

Its a short but sweet title with functional gameplay and really cool art (trans ice cream included). It would be cool if there was a track while transporting the aliens and if the meteor slowboxes were smaller but thats probably nitpicking. For a first entry this is very solid and I hope to see more from you individuals. hooray

Nice game, but poor amount of mechanics (just moving) :(

The art is great, the sound is nice, but feels laggy.

View from the inside is huge, but not really needed. It distracts and blocks vision so you can easily crash.

I like the passenger view and the general artstyle of the game, I wish there was some threat to the player going between destinations, eg. moving damaging asteroids.

the alien designs were great, love the stars in the bg, visually read well :) would've loved a bit of a challenge/stakes like others have mentioned!
