You already got me on the text animation, so satisfying. I liked visual style and how it turned out to be really "deep" with only black and white. Can't say I'm a fan of survival horrors, but I enjoyed this experience

I really loved the art and the dark atmosphere of the game! I genuinely got scared by the scarecrow at the beginning 😄

I was running around for ages trying to find that fourth radio and I just couldn't find it. I swear I scoured every pixel of the map, but I guess I must've just barely missed.
I did manage to find my way outside of the map though. Not sure if it's intentional or not, but I kinda like it. It's like a secret safe passageway to get to other parts of the map. I think there are tiny gaps on most of the fences on the outside.

As for feedback, I really enjoyed my time with this game. I like how the enemies lunge at the player. It creates a kind of natural distance you try to keep from them, and if you get too close then you start to panic. It's simple, but really effective.

Woah! This is a compo game?? How did you get the owl sounds, and the air raid siren?
So much programming and art as well.
Some moments I loved from playing:
* The static effect is awesome
* Love the scarecrow design and mechnics - super cool!
* Was able to escape an enemy by running out into the woods outside the map!

Great work!

Awesome game. With simple graphics you still made a creepy atmosphere and engaging game. Love it!

I'm really impressed by how well all the sounds are made. I feel like they fit the vibe well

I love that the gun sounds like I'm hitting the water with open palm! :D It's really good entry, everything is there, looks good, sound good, has solid gameplay mechanics, great atmosphere. I just think that the loop sometimes is too much, having to get the bullets, then open the inventory, then using it, then reloading the gun, it doesn't seem like it adds anything.

But in general it's really solid entry. Good job! :)

Very nice! I liked the sound design a lot and I think the pills and shooting mechanics were well balanced. By the end I had ungodly amounts of health built up (I may have bugged the health meter, I think? The left number was bigger than the right number), which made things somewhat less stressful.

Something about the graphics put a bit of a strain on my poor Laptop, so I had to shrink the window size a fair bit to get a decent framerate. This also brought the full map back into view which was clipped at my usual browser window dimensions.

the beast part of the game is its artstyle. I enjoyed enemies design. Everything here looks so good. Game creates tense situations: creepy thing is after me, no bullets left and 2 hp. The only hope was adrenaline pill in my inventory. And it worked! Nice game

Holy cow, probably one of my more favorite entries on here, the art style is perfect, the text audio is perfect, the ambiance is perfect, the combat is great, the movement of the enemies toward you is menacing. This is such good stuff, even the end with the "run away" got me with the tornado warning sirens, I had not idea what would be coming, but it was obvious I wouldn't want to be there for it. Honestly peak game

Took me a while to see the "yes no" to pick up an item xD
Otherwise, really cool game, cool art and ambience, good job :)

Really impressed by all the polish on display here, the atmosphere actually put me on edge despite everything just being black-and-white pixel art lol. The way the monsters lunged at you totally freaked me out the first time it happened. Awesome job!!!

Really polished entry! The game is easy to understand, and there is actually pressure to sneak by to disable the radios.

Great job with the art and the sound effects! I had a small problem with the ui, if I had my browser in full screen I could not see the text at the top or my health. The shooting felt a little unsatisfying as I felt like I hit something but nothing happened.
Having it be only black and white and the atmosphere was a phenomenal mix!

Also took me a while to figure out how to pick up items (why not just have the option immediately pop up on contact instead of key press?). Other than that, fantastic entry. Great atmosphere, graphics and audio.

@ugly-robot I created the sounds using the TurellN6 VST plugin and Omnsphere. I played with the revereb and added Shimmer. I turned different sliders and got these sounds! It's cool that you liked it

@henk Hmm, at the moment I don't know why the graphics are loading... I will try to solve this problem! As for the pills - I originally thought so. I wanted to create a shortage of ammo, and to compensate for this, I did it, so you can accumulate more health. Thank you for your feedback!

@crocidb This is what I originally intended. I spied it in Silent Hill. I wanted to evoke a sense of tabletop and keep the player on their toes. So I separated the inventory and the lifting of the items. Thank you for your feedback! Thank you for enjoying the game!

@shoalmuse I noticed this mechanic from Silent Hill. In the first part, such monotonous actions are performed there. I wanted to separate the vision of the item from the inventory, so that the player would try to remember what things they currently have. Perhaps this really turned out to be inappropriate. Thank you very much for your feedback! I'm glad you liked it!

Great complete game! The mood is really well done. I really love the enemy attacks, it's simple but works perfectly. It's well balanced, just hard enough to create tension at the start without being overwhelming. The little escape sequence at the end is a nice way to end it. The weaker aspect is the take on the theme imo, as it doesn't really impact the gameplay. Congrats!
