Simple mechanics that still offered a decent amount of challenge. We're realizing a video with several games of the Ludum Dare #36. We made the same thing at the previous jam.\r<br\/>\r<br\/>Can you add your game on indiexpo.net ? (it's free) \r<br\/>So we can include also your game in the video ;) \r<br\/>p.s. write #LDJAM in the game's description."},{"author_name":"Rico The Jammer","author_uid":"112074","time":"Sep 3, 2016 @ 12:17am","epoch":1472861520,"text":"SPOILERS EVERYWHERE: I first solved the pyramids irrigation riddle. When I tried to enter the code it gave me, the code vanished (a bit lame) so I had to resolve it, write the code down, and enter it... ok.\r<br\/>\r<br\/>Next I did the crates puzzle. I started a bit randomly and then with a little more method to collapse all the crates into one, which gave me a not super satisfying victory (not sure why some panels switch the crates controls though *shrug*).\r<br\/>\r<br\/>I then solved the sliding puzzle (with the help of the itch.io screenshot!). It sure would be nice to be able to slide several panels at once!\r<br\/>\r<br\/>Solving the sliding puzzle gave me what I assume is a clue for the jar filling puzzle, but the buck stopped here as filling the jars from left to right with the same color pattern as the clue resulted in a big fat nothing. Could it be that I broke the puzzle when I experimented with it at an earlier point as I tried mixing colors etc?\r<br\/>\r<br\/>Anyway, I liked this idea of having to figure out several different interconnected puzzles, but I did not find this particular set of puzzle particularly inspiring (but again, who can imagine 5 different, original and interesting puzzle types and implement them in a single week-end? Probably no one... or maybe increpare :) )."}],"images":["ld36\/38323-c06be061c9d29279513e49189cf460bd.jpg"],"links":[{"url":"https:\/\/5cents.itch.io\/the-ancient-puzzle","text":"Windows"}],"metadata":{"g_key":"725","g_author":"38323","g_event":"LD36","g_eventkey":"35","g_subevent":"JAM","g_urlkey":"707","g_title":"Ethan Nichols","g_status":"UCHK1","g_place":"99999","g_commentcount":"2","g_site2_node_id":"0","g_hide":"N","g_has_icon":"Y","g_rqueue":"0","g_random":"0"},"nds":[],"node":null,"orig_images":["http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/wp-content\/compo2\/\/570486\/38323-shot0-1472477125.png-eq-900-500.jpg"],"text":"Ancient Technology has been lost, but one adventurer (You) decided that it's time to discover this technology.\r\n\r\nYou find yourself in front of a wall, filled with puzzles to solve.\r\n\r\nWill you be able to see the Ancient Technology, or will you succumb to the difficulty of the puzzles.\r\n\r\n\r\nPlease know that the game runs in a 1600 * 900 window.
