Some people do not forgive mistakes. That one certainly doesn’t... Now, the only way out for you — or at least for *what remains of you — is to take back what is truly yours. *

Send electric signals to your scattered body parts by manually manipulating your neurons and finding a path toward your goal. Along the way, assemble your own unique body by wisely combining different organs. Find different ways to overcome the difficulties ahead!

Controls: * Numbers - Activate certain organ * Space - Skip dialogue / Move to the next dialogue's node * R - Restart the run (Veeery buggy - please, do not spam it too often! Try clicking on the death screen instead!)

UPD №2: The bug with the overlapping SFX was fixed. Heartbeat become more natural, and the heart doesn’t even increase 1000x times if you spam it :>
UPD №3: FINALLY FIXED (almost...) UI STRETCHING!!!

Is good I went to check. I got an error trying to play the embedded game, go check it out!

"Uh oh!
If you're seeing this error, it means I can't find your index.html file.

This usually means you created your .zip file by zipping the entire folder, and index.html is somewhere like MyGame/index.html. If you recreate your .zip with index.html file in the root, this error should go away.

See the embedding guide for more details. ludumdare.com/resources/guides/embedding/

@lizz, still haven't managed to fix this, but, at least, it's now available on itch!

Very unique and fun. Sometimes stuff happened in the game that I didn't quite understand but even just spamming all the different abilities was fun enough. Nice graphics also.

A really creative idea and nice artwork. I loved the crazy athmosphere of this game. Also, having to manage a growing set of abilities and using them in the right instances is a really cool gameplay concept. Nice work!

A very original and fresh concept, and the sound design is really pleasant! But I’m afraid I don’t have enough hands to use all the “organs” after playing for a while :)

Very unique game, haven't seen much like it.
I like the artstyle.
Can get quite confusing with lots of organs.

Took a few tries to get my bearings but this is a really unique game!

I had fun with it and just a neat entry. Confident I won't play anything else like this for the rest of the jam and that's complementary.

Great job! Keep making things!

Heeeeey I have played it now~ Oh love the professor art and the concept, did struggle with the pressing the right buttons but that can be also a skill issue  I love how the music when retrying flows over, its a fun entry I am happy to have kept an eye on.

I love the game concept, it's super fun and creative. It can be hard to keep track of all the abilities, and I lack the muscle memory to hit the right number key sometimes, but I enjoyed the experience!

I kept mashing buttons and sending my heart bpm through the roof and wondering why my guy kept dying, lol

Fun game, foot meta is the way to go. I died at the last gate and couldn't see the end : (

@lizz, thanks once more! If it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t have managed to publish it, _haha_. Talking about the professor, during the jam I also drew several more frames for his dialogue portrait, but due to a bug, only the first one is displayed T_T

Yep, that is just a simple change of face expression, *haha*, but still disappointing T_T

`upd: portraits' bug was fixed!`

@poboy, yeah, I made the character die if player pushed the heart too far (over 200bpm), so they couldn't just hit 1000 and relax, *haha*. But I definitely should have to mark it out...
!> If you’re too curious about what the ending looks like, it’s one of the gifs on the game page :> And yes, thanks for playing!

I also figured out that if my heart rate goes over 200, it just explodes. I even got 3 hearts and was mashing the button like crazy thinking I'd be invincible, haha — turns out nope. I didn't manage to make it to the last level, I got killed at the second to last node. Quick question though — the rocket turret can't be defeated with the boxing glove, right? I think I've figured out how to deal with all the other enemies already. This is a really great game, being able to choose your own upgrades makes it super fun!

Oh also, I wanted to ask — if you have two brains, you level up faster. So what happens if you have two eyes?

An interesting concept, with a distinctive and appealing art style. What confused me was that the dialogue tells you to press a button, but button presses do not work during dialogues. Aside from that, it is a cool project!
🎤 II-P
Apr 22nd · 13:25 UTC
@yuriscat, yeah, rocket turrets are kind of *“hanging on the ceiling.”* So, just run away or destroy the rockets with an eye. Talking about the eyes (and all body parts in general), the more of one kind you have, the more often you can use them. So, basically, 2x eyes = 2x lasers, *that’s it* :>
And yeah, thanks for playing! Hope your game is doing great—it was actually one of the best entries `(if not the best)` I’ve seen so far! Not every game makes me just sit back and play for 40+ minutes, haha :>

@turbolaser, yeah, I messed up with it a bit. Every dialogue just completely freeze the game. Thanks for playing!

A very interesting and creative concept. A more interactive guide would have been helpful to explain the effects of pressing the buttons.

my heart loved the surreal atmosphere in the game and how this aesthetics feels. my eyes had a pleasure looking on your artstyle, i really like it. my ears couldnt talk (idk if other body parts can), but they enjoyed listening to the music and audio in the game, this part feels very polished. my fingers felt pretty tired of spamming 3456, while having four legs and running on light speed, it is sometimes pretty hard, because there are 10 numbers and i havr only 10 fingers, so i have to use them all. they also think (wtf fingers can think??) you should make the buttons work during the dialogues, because it makes you confused at the start that it tells you to press a button, but you cant. my brain liked how you interpret the theme, it also had thought about this "signal theme as brain signal", while brainstorming the ideas for the jam, but didnt find a way to implement it. you (idk which body part this is addressed to) implemented it creatively and made a very good game in these 72 hours

Really fun and creative concept - you're basically managing your own body parts as abilities which is wild. Art style is charming, gets pretty chaotic with too many organs but in a good way, my keyboard hated me though :(

Yeah, I definitely messed up with the intro-dialogue, haha. I'll drop a bug fix soon, since that’s the most common complaint so far.

Didn’t beat it, but the game is extremely fun and interesting. I’m still not quite sure how to recover from taking damage, but I do know that I want to play again!

Apr 23rd · 18:12 UTC
@naviski, thankies for playing! Pumping the heart actually recovers some bpm *(which works like hit points here)*. The damage taken fades out on its own after some time, but it still accelerates bpm loss.

That was some crazy experience! The idea is great, trippy, feels very unique. In the end I did die because the last obstacles prevented pumping blood and I wasn't prepared for that - but boy, was that fun. The heart (well, one of the hearts) also became very big in the process.

In fullscreen the text spills outside of boxes. Possibly due to my resolution (3440x1440):

![2026_04_24_01_28_35_I_MUST_SCREAM_by_I_2.png](///raw/d51/2/z/72865.png)

Other than this small issue (not affecting the gameplay), I enjoyed the game a lot. Thanks, and congrats!

@marudziik, thanks for playing! Honestly, I don't have a slightest idea why the UI breaks on higher *(and other different from 1920/1080 T_T)* resolutions. I've tried to fixed it, however, hopelessly. Help would be very welcome, *haha* :>

`upd: the enormous heart bug was fixed!`
`upd2: UI looks better as well now!`

This is super unique, omg lol, the visual of hopping around and interacting while keeping your blood flowing (but not TOO much!), and wrecking all of the stuff that’s in your way is incredible. I really struggled to find a balance, and pressing all of the number buttons was irritating sometimes (although the fact that I kept hammering them all in order all the time is probably why I failed lol), but it was a very clever and unique game.

I do wish there was an autobattler-esque option, like maybe a “nervous system” or something (I’m sure you’d have a better idea than me lol) that automatically “pressed” each number button for you. But this was awesome!
