A really charming and funny little game. The concept is simple, but searching for keys with a metal detector while avoiding all the chaos on the slope makes it surprisingly tense and memorable. Feels creative, polished, and full of personality.

Beautiful and delicate art. I like the idea of mixing 2D and 3D.

I found it funny to find a priest at the top of the mountain. I wanted to see him come down in his skis and cassock!

:D

I missed the music...

Congratulations!

I love the character art, good job! I spent a minute or two trying to build up speed to clear the first hill before realizing there were stairs, lol.

-so there's that crazy girl that beat me up, so watch out for her

*finds brass knuckles immediately after that*
oh no.

A very immersive game with a great atmosphere. I'm not really a fan of 3d games as I easily get lost in three-dimensional spaces, but this one was great, probably thanks to the fixed camera. The artwork is really charming, both 2d and 3d. My favorite characters are the grandpa we play as and that crazy girl with brass knuckles. Dialogues are bizzare, but in a good way, like the characters keep finding themselves in weird situations but describe them as if it's an average Thursday for them.

Some characters appear stretched out in the dialogue UI and I kept clipping through the environment, but that's just nitpicking. Also, when I played for the first time, I didn't notice the health bar and assumed that I should be afraid of skiers more than falling trees as they are so dangerous they insta-kill you. :D

The character portraits really stayed with me - they look gorgeous. The idea of searching through people’s personal belongings and learning their stories through them is excellent too.

This grandpa do be zooming tho

Really love the art and the ski village environment! The first child's goofy grin made me smile.

I didn't like constantly slipping all over the place - it would be fine if you only slipped on limited icy surfaces or something. Having to restart because of a random avalance was a little annoying too.

very unusual visual style, I like it! The dialog box with the woman disappeared very quickly. I didn't have time to read a single word. I also don't understand the red bar on the right. Also i found my keys!)

I loved the graphics. I was impressed with how good this Godot web exported game looks (I feel like there are definitely some constraints with Godot and web export.)

Took me a tries, but I ended up finding the keys!

The dialogue was hilarious.

Nitpicky stuff: I ended up walking through some building on the right at the start. Also, I saw a dialog window around the first girl briefly and then it disappeared (maybe that was a glitch?). I couldn't get that dialogue window to come back.

haha, the humor is strong with you guys! the controls are hard to use (I was stuck at the first stairs until I found out that I can jump to overcome the invisible obstacle at the end) but when you get used to it it gets really funny. Well done!

Cool game! There’s just a small issue: when you play in the browser and the window is too small, you can’t see the character.

The combination of 2D and 3D is creative! The fixed perspective prevents players from feeling dizzy in 3D scenes. But I failed to know how to interact with these characters.😯

I got stuck trying to climb the hill until I realized you could jump  Maybe you should mention that in your key bindings section!

1) Controls don't work when keyboard layout is non-English
2) Movement feels very funny
3) Got hit by a tree XD
4) Is there any way to talk to these NPCs?
5) Got hit by another tree XD
6) AVALANCHE??
7) Oh, I see now, I can talk to them when I have the right item? (need to probably backtrack then...)
8) Was killed by a skier

This game has a brilliant concept that makes hunting for Grandpa’s keys feel like a high-stakes mountain adventure. I loved the challenge of dodging skiers and avalanches, though I was a bit confused when trees randomly started falling around me. My metal detector also broke once for a reason I couldn't quite figure out, but it didn't stop the fun. Overall, it’s a super cool and addictive experience that I highly recommend!

The idea is good, you did a great job portraying the difficulty of controlling an elderly person on ice, and the way the grandpa knocks down trees is hilarious.

I was missing an understanding of what the collectible items are for - for example, the mitten.

Very charming game! But I also can't progress after the first area. It seems I am stuck at the end of the stairs and I can't find another way to go up. I am checking the comments, but noone else mentiones it, so it seems I am just too dumb to play this :')...

Very cool! Loved the 2.5D style, the exploration gameplay, and the humor!

Though, I found the controls inconsistent but its really close! I thought its going to be the classic on-ice controls but the moment you let go of all keys, grandpa becomes an immovable object that instantly stops. Working with Godot, my guess is that the momentum is processed in the wrong entrypoint (should be in **_physics_process()** rather than **_input()**)?

It felt lacking in music and sound but somehow I was pulled in anyways, meeting the other folk made up for it I think? The place felt quite alive with the skiers as well.

The camera felt very rigid, I had to solve this problem this time too, in your case, I think either some idle shaking or panning near map borders could work out!

Cool game, enjoyed the exploration and finding cool stuff!

Also, took some time for me to figure out **how to get past the stairs**, didn't know you can **jump**!

I was killed by skiers, then the girl got an STD, apparently because I went somewhere wrong + I found brass knuckles and fell to 11/10
