When I bought a place for the first turret, it turned out to be useless — it was surrounded by grass on all sides, while the enemies move only along the road. The improvement of the turret was also frustrating, because it had virtually no effect on the affected area.

Really good idea :D Could use a little something to tell you where the bug is coming from (the fast one is pretty hard to kill x) ).
Otherwise, good job :D

That was really nice! I loved the art - the cars perspective was really nice and mechanically also very satisfying. I was a lil confused about the turrets as I managed most of the poor pests just with my car :smiling_imp:

Art is fantasticly weird, i love especially the car sprites. Idea is also nice, weird take on tower defence. It felt like it was kinda hard to know where the bugs were coming from so best strategy was just circling around your base.

I do not know why, but the game is stuck when loading here on the website. On itch, this does not happen (using chrome at the moment).I recommend putting the how to play option on the main screen instead of hiding it in the settings, as it is no setting :) The town is quite big and sometimes it is hard finding the last remaining bug. It could help to have some indicators for that. Was fun driving the car. Nice entry!

The graphics reminded me of those old road carpets you might have as a kid . I liked the horn sound effect that was a fun choice. I thought the car driving felt nice and responsive. The graphics felt consistent but I did noticed the placeholder nest for the bugs. One thing that stood out to me was the horn and the drone SFX were much louder than others. But overall good job.

My favorite game of the jam so far! Theme-wise it doesn't seem totally on-point, but that's fine. The red bugs are a bit of a difficulty spike, so I suggest introducing them a bit more slowly. Regardless, I really think you should do more with this concept! It's pretty brilliant~

nice entry! it felt like playing on those old rugs that have roads on them, but judging the story etc. I feel like that's exactly what you intended. :D was fun to play, I liked the controls for the car! felt quite intuitive and satisfying to drift around the map!

I had a lot of fun with this game! I liked having to switch between the two vehicles to balance setting up towers and being the main mobile damager. I was able to keep up for the most part, then the red bugs attacked and got me pretty quick. I did find a funny exploit though. Pressing continue put me back in wave 12, with only the lowest bugs spawning. A lot of them spawned, but a few quick towers was enough. Then it was easy from there to have the humans win.
It felt like a different difficulty mode, so it worked out to still being fun! Good job!

This is the longest I've spent on any of the jam's games so far! Surprisingly so much fun, it had the perfect balance between driving and drone flying, buying turrets, collecting coins, so well balanced! I would LOVE a leaderboard aspect to the game, it would make me lock in 100x more, I'm sure. Amazing work!

The art style is funny, as noted earlier, it also reminded me of old children's carpets with roads. Good job!

Lovely little game, with interesting take on the active vs passive challenge related to tower defence!
Car driving felt fun, and it took me a while to understand why the drone existed; it was like a scout + tower builder.

Noticed some of the tower positions were fully useless, so that was a bummer. First 5 rounds were reallly slow paced, and then the difficulty ramped up to interesting level, and then I died...

well done!

Kinda fun, but not polished. Car gets stuck easily. Also, that's not how backwards steering works (with acceleration to one side, without acceleration — to another). Got to 9th or 10th round

It turned out to be a pretty good tower defense. The mechanics are quite interesting. At first, I didn't understand how to buy houses until I realized I had to look at the shadow. Then I realized I had accumulated too much money and had already bought everything. What should I do with it? It would be cool if the houses could be upgraded. I checked, and it turns out they can be upgraded.

I’d like to see the purchase area marker increased and some kind of visual indicator showing that a house can be improved. Other than that, everything is great.

Interesting mix of elements, I had some fun! UI could do with some more cues, I did not understand what you could/should do at first. Nice entry!

Very cool idea. It's missing some polish with the placement of the turrets and some other upgrades would be nice. But overall very fun, also car go brrrrr

I think its a pretty fun tower defense game. I wish there was some more micro managing you would need to do with the drone. The tower placements that are not usable without a lot of upgrades feel really bad and lead to some blindspots on parts of the map. Other than that I like that you have to drive over the bugs to kill them and had a good time.

Great idea, but the controls are extremely uncomfortable. I like the mood and the humor, as well as the music. Adjust the controller a bit and it would be perfect.
