Miner 3D by haskill

You've been stationed alone on a remote asteroid to mine valuable ores and pay off your contract. Your only company: a drill, a beeping detector, and the unsettling feeling that something is buried much deeper than gold.

Dig through procedurally generated rock layers filled with copper, silver, gold, and diamonds. Sell what you find to upgrade your gear — a faster drill, a stronger jetpack, extended detector range. But be careful: the asteroid is riddled with buried bombs. One wrong swing and it's game over.

Somewhere far below the surface lies a sealed Vault. Its reinforced walls are impenetrable — but detectable. Find it, buy the Master Key, break through the locked doors, and escape through the portal inside.

Tools

🔨 Drill — mines blocks by holding LMB. Upgradeable speed.

📡 Metal Detector — scan a row of blocks for ores. Each ore has a unique sound; louder = closer.

💣 Bomb Detector — passive. Beeps faster near bombs, lights up red when aimed at a dangerous block.

I am FREEEE

Simple concept, but the mining-selling loop is always enjoyable.
A cool addition could be a timed mode that pressures the player to retrieve ores faster and possibly take more risks around the mines.

Cool concept, though it could use a clearer goal (why are we digging?) and some ambient sound in the background

Clearly a bit rough around the edges, but it did capture some of that Minecraft feeling. The bomb mechanics kept me on my toes and prevented me from just digging straight. The metal detector didn't really seem worth it, but maybe I just didn't grasp how to use it efficiently. The large amount of shop options seemed a bit overkill, especially since different levels of rock/ore didn't require upgrades and movement was not a challenge, but I did enjoy picking up some drill speed.

I got all the upgrades and escaped! I didn't feel like you really needed to use the other tools other than the miner since there wasn't any threat of the bombs besides losing some ores. (I actually used the bombs to dig around faster!) It was an enjoyable experience though good work!

I made it! It's a good risk vs. reward setup where you can keep digging longer but could lose half your stuff, and you can be as cautious as you want if you go slowly. My strat was to upgrade drill distance so I could set off bombs from afar without worry.

I lost interest before I could get to the end. Always happy to play these kind of games. I wished there were more upgrades and things to look forward to. I didn't realize I had to switch tools for my detectors to work so I just maxed the drill distance and dug safely.
The little drops from the blocks should not have collision, they just made it awkward to dig in a row.
