FIND OUT HOW HEADPHONES REALLY WORK

Everyone knows that earworms are real right. Play as Earl the Earworm while he frantically turns digital audio signals to real music coming out of your headphones to ensure you have some sick beats playing.

CONTROLS

WASD or Arrow Keys to move

E to interact, pick up, and place down boxes

Mouse click and drag for guitar, drums, and piano minigames

HOW TO PLAY

Waves of digital signals will spawn with a timer to complete them. To do so, take them to their respective instrument stations and play the instruments as fast as possible when prompted to build them up before they can be submitted! Play as fast as you can and submit the required boxes before the timer runs out to score points!

pro tip: don't be too bummed if you can't submit a box in time. you can always save it for another round!

Funny little game! I especially enjoyed discovering the mini games – that must have been a lot of work in just 72 hours, so great job. The worm/earworm idea is really cute and the music fits nicely. The visuals are a bit simple in places, so adding some extra polish there could make the game shine even more. Overall, it was fun exploring and playing around with it.

It's interesting, a lot going on. I liked the minigames. Some of the colored zones don't have proper hitboxes. I would place a box in the colored area but nothing would happen, had to move it further into the zone. The guitar mini game wasn't super obvious but I figured it out. Good job!

Cool game! I had a bit of trouble figuring it out at first, but then I like how the management rythm went. The minigames are fun and I like the artstyle!

Tooks me a minute to catch on since I somehow overlooked the E key was used for picking up and dropping boxes, felt like it could have been entirely mouse driven and that would have worked well for the main screen. Once I got it though it was fun! The mini games were just right in terms of simplicity and were pretty easy to understand, the instruction text on the 'fixer' mini game was a bit small, and the winder on the string mini game was a little finicky, but good variety between the mini games and great music. Overall great work!

The game is fun and has a great variety of mechanics, not much to complain about. Well done!

Nice take on the jam theme. Would be cool if the minigames had more sound feedback for actions — so the whole thing turns into this kind of chaotic music while you’re frantically collecting "boxes".

Cool entry =) At my first attempt, it stopped spawning boxes after like the second "round", but after reloading the game it worked again and for longer.

Awesome job making multiple minigames. Not sure how I got zero points, but still had fun.

It was a little difficult to understand at first how to get into the games. After I figured it out, it was easy.

Congratulations!![Sem título.png](///raw/23f/f1/z/73098.png)

Took a bit to understand what exactly was happening but I got the hang of it in the end. Really good effort with the different minigames here, love the ambition. The only minor note I have(pardon the pun), is when colour coding things, be mindful of colours that could be mixed up, I got stuck on a couple of boxes, just because they were in the wrong section and I didn't realise because of the colour. Other that that really well done, I had fun with this one.

I think this style and scene are very cute! I like this kind of style. Maybe this kind of setting would also suit me well as a music professional.
Haha, it's so interesting to be able to interact with various musical instruments!

I like that the mini games are four very different ideas. I especially like the idea of the fixer in the drum mini game  In the main game, picking up and placing the boxes were a bit fiddly at times and also I think I didn't receive a new task (I mean the list in the top right corner) after finishing one. But was still fun to play!

Really awesome game! Love the different types of minigames for each note, and managing multiple at ones is fun! It got a bit repetitive after a while and i would've loved to handle more than 1 color at a time. Really good job!
