The suspense! Incredible how much the game had me on the edge of the chair!

Enjoyed this! I like the rythym you established where your searching for what to click on, then the hallway run, elevator, all that then increasing the pace. Good stuff!

Woah! What a great atmosphere you've got there! The running sequence is so tense, I felt like I was running from that facility myself

Amazing work on all the aspects. The audio is slick, the music sequence while running is tense and all the visuals are dark and grimy, making it a perfect creepy game.

Great job with visuals and audio! The game feels very spooky! There is enough variety in terms of challenges even though all of them are just clicking around.

Personally, I would prefer if there were some calm moments and not just constant rush, but constant rush is okay for a short game, too.

@woona fair. The elevator was meant to provide that little bit of calmness, but maybe it wasn't enough. The game is supposed to be stressful though so I guess it succeeded.

It was definitely a psychological horror game. I was very stressed and excited at the same time. I like the style and design of the game. Art is very fitting and nice looking for this genre. I didn't catch the theme, but I had fun playing your game! Well done!
🎤 VerttiXPertti
Apr 22nd · 14:24 UTC
@denikk the theme isn't very prevalent but it's more to do with the story and the ending. You're trying to send a signal for help

The camera shake effect is brilliantly done, and it's incredibly atmospheric. I rarely play horror games, but I could actually feel my heart pounding while playing this one! Also, I absolutely love your music—the intense drum beats perfectly enhance the tense atmosphere. I feel like the entire game is just a brilliant concept on how to build up horror vibes. Great job!Pulling off something this incredible for a Compo entry is a massive achievement—huge respect to you!!

Wow this game was so smooth and well executed! Also loved that it was first person view, really added to the suspense. Maybe would have liked a bit more of a dramatic ending but considering how little time was to use you did amazing:D

@firefish Thanks you :) Wasn't a compo entry though, my friend made all the music and sounds.
@ennukas Thanks. For the ending we didn't have much time left so it is what it is.

Very cool work with visuals, music, sounds and atmosphere. The gameplay is quite simple and monotonous, but the sound design and atmosphere keep you in suspense, so you don't even pay attention to the disadvantages of the game. Great job, though I didn't quite understand the connection with theme

I really liked the one-button control. On one hand, it makes the game easier to play, but at the same time it creates this unsettling feeling of helplessness in the face of something terrifying.

It gave me goosebumps, I love it!

This is amazing! The game keeps you in psychological suspense. The room-to-room movement is implemented really well! At one point I genuinely felt scared and uneasy. I think that’s awesome you have to be really talented to come up with something that affects people like that. Great work overall! The graphics are perfect for a horror vibe, the sound is spot on, and the running animation in the corridor is excellent!
🎤 VerttiXPertti
Apr 23rd · 12:02 UTC
@catanus Thank you! At one point the corridor running worked by spamming spacebar, but then I realized that it would be better if the whole game could work with just the mouse.

@helenajaine Aww thanks for the kinds words. I'm glad the game succeeds in scaring players mwahaha

A very scary game. The sound, the lighting, the visuals—everything creates a creepy atmosphere.
It's really well done; I was amazed by the quality of the project.
At first, I was calm and just looking for the levers. But then, after the first elevator, I started panicking and pressing every lever I could find, and I couldn't even think about exploring the area anymore. Hahahaha.
By the way, in my opinion, the levers are too short; they look more like buttons.

Amazing quality of the project, thank you for your work!

@yarcha Thanks for the thorough description. It's interesting to hear how the playthrough went. I hadn't thought about the levers being too short but now that you mention it I see what you mean.

@verttixpertti In fact, I think if you randomize the traps, you'll get a good mobile runner.
🎤 VerttiXPertti

@yarcha the traps are randomized but I didn't have time to make too many rooms. Mobile runner is a funny idea haha. Haven't ever seen a horror infinite runner game before.

the mood is PERFECTLY conveyed, the graphics and musical accompaniment are very well chosen, but the theme, as I understand it, is not related to the gameplay, only to the plot at the end, in any case, the game is definitely good and very unusual

An amazing atmosphere, supported by the sound and visuals!
I’m not entirely sure how, but I eventually reached the room with the screens. Before that, I kept replaying the same section several times without clearly understanding what I was doing wrong or whether the loop was intentional.
🎤 VerttiXPertti
May 01st · 15:37 UTC
@pipetto Thanks for the compliments and staying resilient! The game doesn't really loop, it just has same types of rooms repeating a few times. The elevator separates the 2 floors. I think downstairs has like 5 rooms and upstairs maybe 10. Something like that.

May 02nd · 13:38 UTC
I had no idea what to expect going into it, but I think you deserve special praise for making the game objectives somewhat intuitive without any text on the screen. I got a little confused at the loop (I didnt know if I had done something right or not), but after a couple goes I got through it. Sound was good, definitely built enough tension, and the visuals complimented it perfectly.
