Last Transmission is a horror game about a research station on a planet that begins receiving unknown signals from space. You have been tasked with decrypting these signals and helping those who sent them. The game features a 3D pixel art style reminiscent of old PS1-era games.

SMALL GAMEPLAY GUIDE ON HOW TO DECRYPT MESSAGE: you need to look at the number of the signal that came on the left monitor (It's X.Y.Z number from rules). Then, according to the rules on the wall to the left of the computers, count how many of them are executed, and this will be a number for decryption in an middle computer. It sounds complicated, but it's clear after the first time.

There are no instructions on what to do in the game, and the devices on the table don't do anything. I still haven't figured out how to play it.

Do not play this game sleepy! I kept making stupid mistakes :P
Very fun game with a good atmosphere!

Only feedback I have:
1. Pixelated font was a bit hard to read.
2. !> The explosion was waaay too loud compared to the rest.
3. And I'd agree with the other comment about the ending feeling sudden. Wasn't sure if I was supposed to wait for something. Almost felt like it should keep going.

This seems like a cool game but I couldn't figure out how to interact with the buttons on the monitors - I think it may have been a bug because when I first interact with each of them there is a mouse cursor but it flies off instantly and I don't know how to get it back. The art style and general vibe of this game is cool though and the gameplay seemed interesting, a shame I didn't really get a chance to play properly, would love to try again if you can fix this :)

@pegasys I'm glad you liked the game, but I didn't really understand what exactly the bug was.

@daliamha How are you supposed to press the buttons on the screen, when I look at them to input the number nothing I press does anything

I liked the visuals, and the gameplay is interesting, and the story is also good. The only thing I think would be a little more clear guidline about the formulas for calculating the correct shift number. I'm a bit of a dunderhead, and when I saw the instructions on the wall, firstly I thought they were just decorative text.
Otherwise, good job!

The opening space atmosphere is quite nice and it's also quite rare to see this first-person pixel style/But the problem-solving part is a bit confusing.

Maybe I'm just too dumb for this kind of game. Finished it purely by trial and error. The only thing I figured out was that z is probably a negative number - maybe.
But the visuals are nice and stylized. Loved snacking on the sealed MRE, plastic tastes great. The sound design is really good. And the final twist caught me off guard. Great game!

I’m also a bit nostalgic for the graphics of the PlayStation 1

The game is very mysterious. It has a good graphics filter; I think it's becoming popular again, haha.
First, I woke up, realized I didn't understand anything, and decided to go back to sleep, but it didn't work, so I had to go to work.
Then quests appear on the right side of the screen; if you follow them, everything is pretty clear.
Good job!

I very much like the artstyle and music. Math puzzles takes some time at beginning but later I solved them faster. Also very unexpected ending!

The game creates a really awesome atmosphere. I love retro-style games like this!

I also found the game loop really interesting. I played the fixed version right away, and it worked great overall, except for one small issue. Sometimes it would freeze when pressing the decrypt button, and I had to open the Task Manager to get it working again.

As for gameplay feedback, I think it could be nice if you could take notes on the rules board or on a notepad, for example, to keep track of the current number or make little tally marks for matches. But maybe thats also part of the challenge, not having too many tools, could be worth testing.

I really enjoyed it though and will give it a high rating. The theme is implemented really well!
