I liked repetitive gameplay. Being able to invest points into upgrades after dying makes you want to keep playing.

I wasn’t quite sure about the upgrades though — are they passive?

Some background music would have been nice.

Thanks for the game, I enjoyed it!

Ok, I spent more time than expected playing your game, the grinding is so satisfactory! My only complain is that the letters are too small for the web viewport (at least in the ludum dare page), and the screen curvature didn't help much (it was a nice touch tho!)

really like vibe and gameplay loop, when you looting first and clear map after 💚

@makintosh In fullscreen it looks good, but the letters could still be a bit bigger. Oh, also I noticed the Quit button freezes the game in the html version

@majomirez Thanks, I'll fix it later

That's a lot of work for such a short time! Really cool—I'm hooked! Like others mentioned, it's missing background music, and I'm not quite sure what the signal has to do with it, aside from the title. The bosses could be cell towers or something like that.

Amazing game, one of the first that I've played here that I'm forcing myself to stop playing to go to bed. For feedback, the text was very small and hard to read in the sides of the screen because of the extreme curved monitor look. Also, if you're on an upgrade menu and click escape, you have to get through the upgrade before you can use the menu. Overall, playability was great, ease of use was great, vibes were great, the whole game is something I would be happy to have on my phone to play just as it is today. Great job!

Very interesting game! First of all: it looks great, I really think the CRT effects are lifting the graphics up. The audio is very functional, and I'm also happy that there is no chiptune music blasting in my ears :) It works perfectly with the graphics.

At first I thought the gameplay was too simple, but because you can level up every time you die you want to keep playing. I also like that there is no tutorial needed, after you die once or twice you know what everything does.

Overall well done!

Really good game![Imba.png](///raw/544/96/z/71d36.png) 5 aegis build with 100% dodge chance + lifesteal too strong. Waiting for updates with more challenging opponents, balance adjustments and items

I'm a big fan of He Is Coming, so this really scratched an itch! Great work, too. Looks and plays really well, though its pretty brutal early on. There's something satisfying about leveling up and beating down the bigger enemies. Beautifully presented. Great game!

Dude, this gameplay is practically perfect to me. Being able to keep upgrades and stat increases between losses and wins is so so cool. The upgrades are great, the combat is nice and easily understandable, the visibility mechanic is pure amazing and makes exploring the forest in a top down setting feel amazing. There are so many things that I loved about this, if this was a steam game, I would throw my wallet at this to see it develop and fix the few tiny issues it has. The biggest issue with me was just lag, ever move caused a little delay, but honestly, the game was so fun I didn't mind it. Peak and perfect game, absolutely loved it. Keep up the good work :D

Really fun, quite addictive. Liked getting a strong lifesteal build and just healing to full each hit

Genuinely addictive loop, the permanent upgrades between runs make you want to keep going. Lifesteal feels a bit too strong though, once you get it the rest of the build barely matters. Connection to the theme is a stretch but the CRT aesthetic carries the vibe. Nice work!

I love autobattler game a lot! This game is quite nice, exploring the map and fighting enemies. I was able to clear the map! Graphics and audio are good (that curvature of the screen is a nice touch), just I couldn't see the right upgrades properly (the ones with special effect / artifacts. Overall, nice game!

I can see the 'HE IS COMING' influence, but you've successfully turned it into your own unique piece of work. It feels like a high-quality demake! It just needs some tracker music to be a total masterpiece. Great job! :star: :keyboard:

Wow. This was probably the funnest experience i had playing a game on Ludum Dare. It played on all my weak spots as a gamer, which are my attraction to the repetitive style of this game, as well as the perfect sound for moving( expecially when moving fast :). This was the greatest first game I have personally seen posted here. Keep coding!

Honestly, didn't see anything compared to the signals. I guess its not really neccesary to follow the theme, but the "signal" is still mentioned in the title of the game. Meta-progression is good still.

I really enjoyed it. It's certainly one of my favorites so far. I see a lot of potential for further development. The signal theme wasn't quite there, but it was a blast anyway.
