音声すごかったです!!
サバイバルゲームとして敵の密度ちょっと高すぎた気がするけど楽しかったです!
テーマにぴったり合うことが一番すごいです~

I like this graphics. Is it 3d models with custom cartoony-outline shader or just a few 2d sprites and a quad flying on the 3d plane?

@xahon It's using 2D sprites on quads rotated towards the camera. Thanks for the compliment!

Very well executed! It took me a little time to get used to the controls and understand that after pressing Q you need to lock the position with the mouse before using the beam with Space.

Fighting the monsters with the beam felt quite difficult, though maybe there are more defensive options later in the game. That would be great.

The atmosphere is fantastic. It really gives the feeling of being completely alone on this planet, with danger around every corner. Even eating unfamiliar fruit felt risky 😄

Thanks for the feeback @nadia-pixel! Wish we would've had more time to tutorialize the controls... glad you liked the atmosphere :)

I really enjoyed this! I've not seen a game mechanic quite like this, and while it wasn't especially complicated, it worked well for the scope of the short game, and I had fun the whole way through.

Fun game! I love the art style blending 2D and 3D. The orbital strike mechanic was a great use of theme. Keeping a tower up while trying to defend from monsters and build more towers proved quite difficult - but I felt like it was challenging in a good way. Well done!

Your game has a great visual style. I also really liked the combat mechanics. Incinerating monsters with an orbital laser is awesome!

I am pretty helpless without maps, but I managed to get a few towers before I was destroyed by aliens. It was really nice and I felt pretty smart blasting several crystals at once. Neat little game, good job!

Nice entry! Its very hard though. I managed to kill perhaps 5 creatures before i fell. And the rocks are too heavily guarded :((( 1/3 towers for me

Great visuals, interesting concept. If they expanded the gameplay and added different biomes and quests, it would be fun to play on Steam!

It's an interesting game. The graphics are a bit rough and the audio isn't very pleasant, but overall it turned out pretty well.

Wow! This is awesome! The graphics are really cool! The monsters and the main character are very stylish! I really liked them! The music is nice! I didn't understand how to use the controls right away, but I figured it out later! The project turned out great!

Nice Game! Needed some time to get used to the combat but was able to build 3 Towers.

@bjoernm Hey, thanks so much! Just curious, but did you manage to get the teleport animation and "you survived" screen at the end after building the towers?

Damn, I killed myself with the beam that was supposed to deliver the last rock needed for my third tower

Great atmosphere, I love the art direction! The visuals are great and the music is AMAZING!

Your interpretation of the theme has a lot going for it.

I get the idea — it’s fun. But the game turned out to be too hard for me. I only managed to build one satellite, and it got destroyed by monsters. Then I decided to gather enough resources to build three satellites at once, but it was hard to reach the rocks because the killed monsters kept respawning.

In the end, one of them cornered me among the rocks so I couldn’t get out. So I made the heroic decision to destroy it with an orbital laser along with myself — and received a posthumous medal for bravery.

Thanks for the game! The “signal” theme is fully realized.

I like the combination of 3D and 2D visuals, and the alien is so cute!
However, the game turned out to be quite challenging due to the constant attacks and destruction.
It might feel easier if the laser were a bit more responsive.

Its hard, but the art style is adorable and the music is cute. I found the UI and the opening a little unclear with what I was supposed to do. Overall though great job!

Oh no, I shot myself with an orbital beam :( But as a life-long supporter of friendly fire game mechanics, I can't be mad. Beautiful graphics, and straightforward concept, well done! I was not good enough to complete it (that hostile fauna is a menace), but I had fun.

Whew, pretty tricky game, kinda hard having to both defend your towers while searching for materials, so it builds a cool risk-reward gameplay. Art style is pretty nice, liked the main character and it can be satisfying to line up your shot just right. Good job!

Very nice idea. I also understand the part where u can see further when near towers, but the camera is still too close for my liking.

Fun art, cute SFX for the monsters. The coolest part was getting the zoomed out camera and much faster signal charge time from the towers. A neat power spike with a great feeling. The rocks were a pretty limiting factor for me and I ended up quitting when all my towers got wiped out twice in a row. There got to be a lot of monsters, even while killing all I saw for a while.

The game was difficult and fun. The monsters made me jump, even when I knew they were close. I think the charging monster attack SFX helped contribute to it. The audio was relaxed and engaging.
