made by miltage for Ludum Dare 59 (COMPO)

A very simple game about testing reaction times.

Wait for the starting pistol to fire, then click to start sprinting.

The game features an online leaderboard so you can compete against other players from around the world.

Do you have what it takes to be in the top 10 at the Clickrun Olympics??

I got a bit lucky and accidentally hit it right before the pistol fired  Feel free to delete this entry

Pixel graphics kinda reminds me pixeljam games, like "dino run" and "rat maze", which i like so much as an indie games. Super simple but the idea is good

Simple, but the interpretation of the theme is so cool that I have no complaints. Well done!

So simple but the execution is just perfect! What a great concept. Loved the flag selection, and the fact you get to see other's results playing out "live" alongside you. I tried so hard to be the fastest Canadian but I just can't get any higher :joy: Very well done!

It's a cool game. I had experience developing something similar a few years ago.

Super minimal, but what it does it does fantastically. I played much longer than I thought I would to try to get <100ms. The little touches like the reverb and background ads really make this something special. Would love to see this developed into a sweet of games.

Simple and elegant. The pixel art’s charming and very well executed. I’d love to try more multiplayer contests like this—accuracy, rhythm, etc. Nicely done!

This is fun! So much so that I played it enough to accidently click at the exact frame as the gun and got a 13ms 'reaction'. It's not really a reaction, it was completely accidental!

I guess that's why in real life you get disqualified if you react too fast, even if it's technically after the gun.

Regardless, any gamified mechanic with a high score always makes me want to play a bunch to keep improving, so I had a great deal of fun. Thank you.

@slippers I probably should have added a 100ms minimum to the score, but hey, yours is legit so it's staying in! I think you're gonna be first forever, congratulations!

Simple yet great entry!

I spent 1 minute to find the France flag, is it part of the gameplay? :joy:

Good job!

250ms each time until... 16ms!

Surprisingly addictive. My husband noticed what I was doing, saw the game, and immediately wanted to try too. I really like the art, and found the image of only your runner running off the screen (as well as the sound effect) when you jump the gun quite entertaining. I'm impressed that you made a leaderboard as well, and enjoyed making my way up to 6th.
