NOTE - if game is slow on your device, try itch.io version with optimized shaders.

Game fully vibecoded in ~12hrs for LD59

Welcome to cosmic signal experience! How to play:

Select your encoder ring, choose sending direction by rotating it's knob.

Enter symbols into message box. They will fill selected encoder's rings. Mind the cooldowns. Signal will be sent when outer ring aligns with direction knob pointing.

Symbols: Red attacks opponent, Blue shields while it lasts, Yellow transfer to your allied encoders, but can't attack.

Controls: Mouse. Hotkeys: TAB to switch encoders, arrows to direct signal knob, 1-2-3 for typing message and ENTER to send.

Engine: Godot

AI Tools: RecraftV4 (via Krea.ai) for image references.

Z.ai (GLM-5.1) for agent coding (incl. procedural music, shaders).

Pretty impressive you managed to vibe code this in 12 hours (I'm never able to get anything so complete from vibe coding). I found it difficult, it's definitely something I could get quite into if I didn't suck at it so much :D

Since this AI craze arrived when I was already in my 40s, by which time I'd been coding for over 20 years, I've never VibeCoded in my life. It would be very interesting to actually see the process and how well it works, what the glitches are, etc.

@gideongriebenow it probably deserves blog post, but in short, it went suprisingly well. I just chatted with agent, telling what I want, it planned it actions and edited files, I ran game, pointed at bugs and requested balance changes. I've posted my prompts on itch near sources.

Nice idea for the jam. The resolution is very hard to read here on web though, and the controls take some time to get accustomed to, but it is very fun once you get a hang of it, good job!

Really interesting concept and great visualization, but it turned out to be quite a complex thing. I'd appreciate a video with commentary on how to play this. I poked around for 5-10 minutes and even won once, but saying I understand what I'm doing would be a serious overstatement. Either way, great work.

cool game but i wish the level design helped teach the strategy more. level 1 to 2 felt like a huge jump in difficulty.

cool game, but for a strategy a bit fast. It is hard to move your mouse and control your build AND the main game. I could barely build anything and looked only down. Also the attack is a bit too strong I think... or maybe deffence is too weak, I dunno...

Great to see another AI coding based entry! The game is pretty cool looking, but hard to understand. What do the rings and combinations of symbols do?
