The theme of the game was Signals so I wanted to make a game that used godot's signals as the main driver of the action. There is very little game logic in any process functions here, mainly just eye candy stuff like the little storage container bouncing around behind you. Also rail signals was the first thing that came to mind, so train.
Have fun out there!

I was a bit confused by the gameplay in general, I got the gist of it though.
Awesome voice acting man!
You should put a screenshot in your description, I saw a streamer play it and thought it was interesting, I'm worried people might miss it without an image.

The way this could be expanded is pretty straightforward - more levels, more types of materials and nodes, and another pass on UI/backgrounds, but what you got done is solid for a compo-scope prototype!
My main critique (and it's fairly minor) is that it would be great to make it clearer that the home station could be upgraded, especially given that's the most fun upgrade in the game! A little icon on anything which it available for upgrade, or a number showing the CURRENT level of a station, could help.
Thanks for the game!
Thanks for the feedback!
Gameplay was pretty easy to pick up and didn't take me too long to get it fully, but some UI indicators would be certainly welcome. That said, fun little game!
