Oh no, the Jukebox is broken but the PARTY is JUST BEGINNING!

Quick, find the correct pitch, fix the audio signal glitches and tweak those knobs until people DANCE!

Make sure everyone stays on the dancefloor 'TIL THE END OF THE NIGHT! Well, at least to get paid...

Everything was made solo in about 14 hours, except the soundtrack (thank you Michael Jackson and Britney Spears for the rights I'm sure you would agree to lend me).

EDIT: Took an extra hour to fix a major bug where the music couldn't be heard (FMOD x WebGL...), and did another late hotfix to handle all resolutions (the game wasn't playable at all)

Hope you will enjoy playing the game as much as I enjoyed making it!

I had a lot of fun playing this and great choice of songs haha! I achieved a score of 30 in the end :)

The amount of copyright infringement here is a little spooky, but the game was a lot of fun! My game uses similar controls, but I never would've thought to use it with music. The little dancing guys are also pretty cool. Good job!

Love it! It's simple and yet very effective, both in gameplay and graphics. I'm usually against using copyrighted material but here it's really needed for the concept to work so it makes sense. The effects on audio work very well. Congrats!

Hahaha! A really nice game and concept. I enjoyed a lot playing with the knobs and getting the broken controls working. I like how the graphical design was brought to life, it made that club feeling and the animation-movement of the crowd with the texts and leaving people were really working well. Also super idea on changing pitch-noise-volume this way and that the controls reset with every song! Congrats!

Great song selection. The gameplay is very simple, but it’s executed really well — I enjoyed it!

wow wow!
What a crazy idea :D
I had a lot of fun with that after I figure how to play it and guess the songs!

What do you mean, people don't like my playlist of slow-core hyper-modulated unrecognizable songs? :(
Anyway, cool idea, though I got no sound at all on Firefox, but it was fine with a Chromium based browser.

This is a very cool idea! It left me wanting more. I found it a little difficult to turn the dials with the mouse but that's all I could fault it for.

This was a fun take on the theme, simple, but kept me entertained i just wanted to get to the next song each time it changed. Love the little dance animation everyone does.

This was so much fun, ngl, the change in music scared me so much, but I got used to it and ready for it. It was an absolutely fantastic game loop, so fun to figure out what the bottom two dials did, and finding that sweet spot for the music. it was so fun, especially with the music being very popular and known ones, making it easy to know what the song should sound like. Great job :D

It was quite fun XD I enjoyed trying to figure out and play the songs correctly!

Super fun concept! Tweaking the knobs to ‘repair’ each track was way more engaging than I expected, and the crowd reactions really sold the vibe. A bit fiddly to turn the dials at times, but overall a really entertaining loop that made me want to hear the next song.

Honestly, I didn't want it to end. I kept wanting more knobs, switches, and dials to show up, for the gameplay to ramp up, for especially picky dancers to start showing up. Brilliant idea, excellent execution. Special respect for the playlist — Mercury especially. Keep it up, fellow jammer, you're doing great!

Haha a real gem, great concept and some right bangers. Would have loved a little more variety / difficulty in the controls, maybe a little difficulty ramp as the night went on but really I'm just trying to provide some constructive feedback. The little dancing to the beat was charming.

Very fun demonstration of the kinds of audio tweaking which is possible. It was fun having a moment when the song goes from unrecognizable to recognizable. I managed to get 30 people on the dance floor which is the same as everyone else so the difficult might be a bit too easy. Still fantastic work!

Very fun! The moment when the music is dialed in and the crowd starts dancing is super satisfying.

That was fun, I didn't expect to actually tone it correctly each time since I don't know the songs that much, so that was a nice surprise, well done

this is one of the most fun games I've played so far in this jam, I might be biased a bit though because I love games that incorporate music in some way haha

is 30 clubbers the max? I definitely saw some say "I will leave" but I didn't check if they actually did

Cool design and overall vibe !

A bit tricky to find the right setup but very satisfying once the perfect sound is found

I wish we implemented the same kind of controls for the knobs !

Nice work

Very cool game idea! :)
I had fun playing with the jukebox.

Sometimes the audio could be very loud, when a song was switching. I always turned the volume down, when I knew there was a transition. :D

I like that the clubbers are dancing to the beat.
Thanks to the clubbers you can always tell what is missing.

Cool game. The knobs were a bit sensitive and I agree with others that the volume changes could be a bit jarring at times. But I love the idea a the graphics really fit perfectly. Well done!

![photo_2026-04-24_01-39-53.jpg](///raw/c3c/86/z/72856.jpg) ABSOLUTE CINEMA. The game is simple, but the vibe of the music brings everything out. The main thing in a game is the player's emotions, and I got a lot of emotions from this game.

I love the art. The jukebox being the theme is super catchy, and the clubber silhouettes are simple and work well. The game mechanics are simple but effective. One thing that I'd loved when I played was getting feedback each round instead of at the end of the game. I could feel that I was getting faster and faster, but I don't necessarily see any feedbacks from the game other than clubbers leaving. It would be nice if when we do it really fast, some clubbers join, and when we do it slow, we clearly see stages of clubbers leaving. Currently, I can feel that I'm getting better and there's intrinsic motivation coming from that, but some validation from the game would definitely reinforce that.

It's a really fun cute game! I like the clubbers jumping to the beat. Definitely way too easy, but the music alone is enough to keep me playing. Just be careful, since you did not make the music in the game, you do not qualify for the Compo. I'd recommend changing your category to Jam so you don't risk being disqualified! I'd also remove the copyrighted music from the Github source code just in case.

funny game! it was interesting, i like clubbers animations and the gameplay which you need to tune right music (because this was popular songs and you know how they supposed to sound). but as many people said, i worried about copyright x) if you don't want any troubles you should use music with no copyright or create music by yourself

Cool idea! It's fun to play with the knobs and watch the people's reactions and their dance moves.

The speed at which people leave is quite lenient, and it looks like this leads to people having very similar scores at the end (five commenters posted a picture with a score of 30, and I also got 30). This could be made a bit more challenging, but other than that it's a nice entry!

The idea is interesting, but for some reason, i still have the music bug that you mentioned((. So its not really playable. Even if i have to fix the jukebox by following the words that these guys tell me, no music - no fun((((

A really nice relaxing little game — it feels like I'm right there on the dancefloor myself. Chill.

Great visuals. Those dancing clubbers are adorable. Interesting concept, and lots of fun to play. My only complaint was that I couldn't unplug the jukebox. If you're going to put that enticing plug graphic there at least let me pull it out and ruin all those clubbers nights. Awesome entry. Good stuff :8ball:
