WiFi Trouble

Have you ever needed to configure WiFi in your room? It is a nightmare... But also rewarding once you succeed! To bring this puzzle to life, we created a game WiFi Trouble!

How to play:

  • Signal is emmited from the router
  • Place repeaters by drag and dropping them to extend the WiFi signal
  • All repeaters have a range and signal cannot pass through a wall
  • The goal is to connect all the devices in the room
  • Signals are transmitted and recieved at the centers of cells and need a direct connection between, even a corner of a wall will block them!

Neat idea, I really love the graphics!
I encountered a bug when reloading levels where routers don't propagate the signal. Reloading multiple times seems to fix it.

Beautiful concept and art for this puzzle :relaxed:

The bug mentioned above also occurs with the repeaters that need to be placed

Cool concept and great presentation. Unfortunately a bit buggy, which kept me from fully enjoying the game. Would love to come back and give it another go if it gets patched up.

I encountered the same bugs as the others and had to restart the game several times to make it work. Nice concept though! I like it

I like the concept a lot! But as the others have mentioned, signals sometimes don't propagate and you have to restart.

Love the concept. To polish it, an undo option would be great. Maybe adding a preview of the range covered, but the choice not to include it might be intentional.

A pleasant, cozy puzzle game. It’s intuitive and easy to pick up, with solid visuals and audio. The only thing I felt was missing was a bit more variety - for example, different types of routers with different signal shapes.

I really love the concept, I thought there was a bug were the wifi would not connect, but then I realized it's a commentary on the difficulty of getting a wifi connection to work. I also loved the fact that in one of the puzzle, there is a random part of the room that was able to receive the wifi for no reason.

Sadly, one of the level ended up being too frustrating and I couldn't get it to work :( But you should have kept the votes for humour.

Oh well... I guess I'll go out and take some fresh air instead.

Fun! I felt a bit frustrated that each router seemed to behave a bit uniquely. At least if there was a pattern I couldn't detect it. So I ended up placing the routers somewhat randomly until I got connnection.... a bit like real life ;)

The wifi repeater puzzle concept is clean and fits the theme well. Art style is charming too. Hit the same reset bug as everyone else though, router spawning with 0 signal on restart is pretty annoying. An undo button would also go a long way. Good entry overall!

Surprisingly interesting puzzles! Some issues with initial connectivity tiles when resetting. Good amount of levels! I would hate to have router with 1 range...

I love puzzle games, and this one felt really well-designed and smart in terms of level design. It fits the “Signals” theme nicely. The music is soft and relaxing, and it creates a chill atmosphere that makes thinking through the puzzles really enjoyable.

Fun game! The Music eventually stopped looping. The biggest issue is the wifi signal wouldn't work sometimes at the start of the level so I'd have to reset a bunch to get it work.

I love a good puzzle game! Yours is approved! I liked it
I think these internet service companies earn a lot of money off these wonky signal boosters haha
Love the implementation of the game! I finished all levels, except for one. I wonder if it is the same level @tomtomgome ;
!> is it the Windmill one?

I think it is awesome that you created a level select screen.

Managed to beat it all, nice little brain teaser. I agree it'd be nice to be able to undo or even just move the repeaters at will, but I do understand it'd probably make it too easy to just brute force solutions with repeated shuffling instead of thinking it out beforehand.

Nice idea for a casual puzzle game. It fits the theme well. I only wante to be able to move already placed repeater, starting over and over is a bit frustrating. Maybe it's a design decision to make the game a bit harder - to add a memory element to the puzzle?

Interesting one. I was stuck on the Reach level. The restart button kept messing up which people have already pointed out. Good idea for a puzzle game!

Other than the bug for restarting a level things work pretty well. I like solving the puzzles but it's a bit time consuming to restart when you place something a bit wrong. Overall nice job!

It's a very cute game! ^-^

The simplicity of the mechanics and controls is captivating. There wasn't enough rollback from the previous action to avoid replaying the level

This looks nice. I've reached level 5, but I'm not sure I fully understand how the mechanics work.

Oh, this is really counterintuitive.
It would be great if the operating rules of the mechanism could be revealed, or if the coverage area could be displayed in real time.

Really neat puzzles, I was surprised how much they made me think for such a pretty simple concept. Everything was clear and easy to grasp. The only hiccup I ran into was that clicking on reset sometimes wouldn't fully reset a level, the source router would be stuck on zero range. I would have to click and hold to kinda finesse the reset.

Fun stuff, good job!
