Disclaimer: I am not an audio person normally. I know very little about music really but I have worked on rhythm games before. There is not much variation to the music that's in this prototype. A real musician could surely do much better.

Basically there are towers that play tracks. Those towers send out signals to receiver towers that power up when they receive signals from the track towers. The receiver towers attack to the beat when they have power.

Lots of room for future improvements. More variants in towers are needed. More variations in tracks. Leveling up towers to increase their stats. More sfx. Ability to modify the audio wave radius. The 3 different beat visualizer bar colors could be assigned different properties. I built towers that sent out signals as arcs instead of a radius and bullet towers but they didn't make it in on time unfortunately.

Also, sadly the game doesn't work in web builds.

This unity project used the Shapes plugin and DamageNumbers asset which have been stripped from the source code because they are paid assets and thus not included.

Wow this is a nice idea! I loved the visuals so much! The gameplay itself was not much but the vibe i got from it was worth it.
