made by Juutis for Ludum Dare 59 (JAM)

The Earth is under attack!

Intergalactic invaders are threatening the whole humankind. The leaders of the Earth have devised a plan to shut down all wireless communication and go completely dark to prevent the invaders from finding our population hubs.

You, a lone hero, do not agree with this methodology.

Find and fire up deactivated radio transmitters to get the attention of the alien invaders, so you can get rid of them once and for all!

Wow I had a blast! The graphics and sound were nice. I liked the top down style even when I don't play these games much. Altough on later levels it was hard to see which enemy was dead and alive. Thanks to that i got ambushed from one on a bunch of corpses and died. Still fun. :D

Loved the artstyle with the 3D walls and 2D world. Gameplay reminded me of Teleglitch (as it is also a top down shooter) in the best way possible. Good job to everyone on the team!

Damn, this was really cool to play! The art style with the 3D/2D style really caught my eye and the gameplay was fairly engaging. Sometimes the enemies would pile up over older bodies and I'd lose track of who was shooting at me vs who was dead, but spraying into them with the machine gun or shotgun eventually solved that issue. The start cutscene was just slightly too long and slow for my liking but really that's a minor nitpick.

The variety of weapons was fun and you'd added enough ammo that I didn't feel the need to preserve it and could always use the newest or most exciting weapon. Fun game, good work! :)

Great game. I liked the top-down view and how enemies can hide in ammo boxes.

Had a good fun playing this, well polished for a jam and enemy placements and cluster of enemy's are good

A fun top-down shooter, everything is well-polished. Enemies miss very often if you move in a zig-zag pattern:D
Anyway, great job!

A fun little game. One thing i felt was missing though, was that the enemies you defeat could have dropped some ammo. The intro also felt like it was missing music. Aside from that, it was very polished and well presented.

I finished the game and killed a lot of people along the way!
Really liked how the top-down view is handled — the perspective of the surrounding buildings adds clarity without getting in the way of gameplay. Nice touch being able to carry ammo between levels. Overall a very polished game.

The only thing is that the theme feels like it's mostly carried by the narrative - I was expecting the final weapon to tie into the communication signals somehow, but it turned out to be a laser

Cool and very nostalgic game. I liked the variety of weapons (although the shotgun is a bit overpowered).
The top-down component and the game's atmosphere are awesome.
The only downsides I can think of are the lack of a real challenge and a minimap.
GJ!

The top-down vibes are fun, I get hotline miami vibes.
I found it a bit too easy, but this looks like something you could build on for sure!

The signal towers for the theme works well

It’s so thrilling and really stress-relieving! Getting different weapons feels totally fresh, and all the attack effects are brilliantly done!

Awesome shooter! The walls look really nice, great combo of 2D and 3D. A bit hard to orient without a map, but manageable. And got a little bit on a harder side with tons of machinegun enemies later on - I wish my sniper rifle had some penetration)

Honestly just my cup of tea! Visuals on the point and so was the user guidance. Maybe more punch into shooting and we have a winner. Have to ask if that is read 3D or fake as the walls feel great?

Thanks for the feedback, guys!

@tykki19 The walls are real 3D objects.

Super cool shooter! 😉 I really needed a game like this today, I had a lot of fun. The graphics look great and the gameplay is very easy to understand. One small thing: it’s easy to miss some corridors/places since they look quite similar. Have you considered adding a mini-map so players can keep track of where they’ve already been?

Other than that, great job!!! !
