Fun game! The money UI in the upgrade page seems to have a little issue, but love the game overall :)

The game feels very polished, and I like the idea and attention to small details (like footsteps) despite the short deadline. If it was a released mobile game, I would definitely play it in my free time. The only small minus I noticed is a bit of weird diagonal movement (character sprite jittering)

I finished it!

The game feels very polished overall. I liked it a lot, great job.

I do think a few more unusual or exciting upgrades could make it even more fun. The scaling on the upgrade screen could also use a bit of adjustment. The tooltips there, especially the ones near the top, may need to appear differently since in some cases they are hard to see.

It feels like that the game was inspired by Shelldiver. My own jam game is also an incremental game, inspired by A Game About Feeding a Hole. haha.

Really fun game! My entry was similar in theme to this, but I love your execution of the idea. It was very satisfying to dig up multiple items in one go. I love the chunky pixel art visuals as well. Really solid and polished incremental game, well done!

Really cute concept and game! Works out great and I was hooked once I started to get more upgrades haha

I found it only lacking a little bit on polishing the progression. The begging feels a bit too "hard", while at the end I got everything in the beach easily and still had to dig a bunch of times just to get back to the "shop". I feel that only by changing how many digs each item needed would improve the experience a lot!

But for a two person team in such a short time, this feels and looks amazing! Congratulation guys, wonderful job!

Really great progression. Loved the feeling of getting the incremental upgrades. Especially the dig radius felt so good after doing all of the digging at lower power levels. Pixel art looked great too!

Hi! It was funny to come across your game on itch right next to ours - I guess great minds think alike :)

I really enjoyed playing it. Overall, this is a solid Ludum entry - great work!

I have a few pieces of feedback. I hope it won’t sound like I'm mad that you made a similar game to ours XD

1) The beginning feels a bit slow. There’s some friction in the loop between “run -> results screen -> upgrade screen” and the pacing changes quite frequently early on.
2) The mid- and late-game feels great! Progression is pretty solid here!
3) When holding the mouse button to dig, if the character has already cleared everything nearby, it would be helpful if digging stopped automatically. I often held the button too long and wasted energy for nothing.
4) An “end day” button would be useful, especially when you’re out of sonar pulses.
5) Minor visual issue: due to low resolution of your pixel art, the character jitters slightly when moving diagonally.

Great work overall!

Really well done little game! The only thing I would mention is that I didn't realize the skill tree menu could move around at first so the tool tip at the top were cut off. I figured it out fairly quick though. Great job!

Lovely experience! The start is a bit slow but it made it more satisfying to complete the entire tree and get more efficient each time, great entry!

Gonna be honest: my favorite game of the jam so far! The chilling atmosphere, with beautiful music and sound design, is very relaxing. The progression feels very good, you really nailed it. I played it again after finishing it for the first time! I also really like that you can still play for 100% after completing the game.

Two minor bugs: Sometimes, especially when you earn a lot of money, the gold counter on the upgrades page is broken. Also, if you finish digging the last item using your last chunk of stamina, the game will prioritize the lack of stamina, and will bring you back to the upgrades page, instead of the end.

Now what I'd like to see is an ingame timer for speedruns, or at least the number of trips you needed to beat the game

Great entry, congratulations!

After having played a handful of incrementals lately, I appreciate the restraint of this one! The numbers don't get insane, and you never get so overpowered that the game feels like it starts to play itself.

I did find I was missing one last secret upgrade after buying the entire tree, but that is a very minor complaint. I still had a nice time with this, and the art is lovely too. :) Nice work!

Only getting to dig up one item the first day(s) was rough. My first day, I found a $1 pop top, so it wasn’t til the second day that I got an upgrade. Even after upgrading my damage, I could only get one thing a day. There’s a lot of luck on what you dig up, which then leads to a lot of luck with how quickly you can upgrade and earn more treasures per day. With that said, after that, it got to be a lot of fun! I loved upgrading and finding the treasure, and that the game ended when you get all of the treasures (without also running out of stamina at the same time, which happened to me the first time lol).

Using the sonar to auto-dig treasures, and then digging up sonar charges, was also a really epic combo. I loved that!

Not an original idea, but in a fun "setting". And it was funny that at first glance they seemed to be bad upgrades - in combination with the other, they turned out to be very good. I liked this game.
