made by sodaman for Ludum Dare 59 (JAM)

You are a little WiFi being but your life sucks because you are constantly lagging. Yet, you manipulate this power to overcome the environment and reach the router.

The game is missing a lot of polish as I was not able to spend a lot of time on it, but I decided to still upload it because I find it fun

Controls: - [Left Arrow] to move left - [Right Arrow] to move right - [Spacebar] to jump - [Z] to increase delay - [X] to decrease delay

Very creative take on the theme that creates pretty unique puzzles kinda like braid!

I like this idea a lot! Very creative. I wish I could change the controls tho, the arrow keys plus space is a little hard to process to me lol

A cool idea and little music. I liked it, it is quite fun to play. The only thing is, please add the ability to move left on A, right on D, and jump on W

Ahh, it takes me back to that bad internet era, where we all were lagged as heck in those old MMOs haha. As others said, I think the keys layout needs a bit working (I would swap Z and X and use Up for jump). Overall is an great game, Good job!

What a unique idea! I'm not usually a fan of platformers, but I was curious to see how the mechanics would work (especially the slight delay), and I'm impressed! Great job!

Love the creative mechanic. Haven't seen any other game do stuff like this. I feel like I cheesed one of the solutions, but it's always fun when a puzzle game lets you solve it in your own way

Love how creative the main mechanic is. Haven't seen any other game do stuff like this. I feel like I cheesed one of the solutions, but it's always fun when a puzzle game lets you solve it in your own way

REALLY cool and original mechanic for this and quite interesting puzzles, it would honestly be crazy executed as a full game, I really enjoyed this one

It's a really unique platformer! There's definitely a lot of possibilities with puzzles with this

You made so many levels, that's impressive. I liked the core mechanic, it's really unique and clever. Art looks great and music fits really well. Idk what you are talking about, but when I read the game lacks polish I expected completely different experience. Did you mean polish language or smth? Haha

I loved the concept, the WebGL version is lagging quite bad in the browser for me, but the concept is interesting and I like that you can control the delay before you "rubberband" back. Although there doesn't seem to be much design room for anything other than just setting the delay to maximum except for a few puzzles. Still very good!

Cool implementation of the idea. At first, I thought it would always make sense to use only the largest ping, but it turned out not to be the case. Well done.

Fantastic idea. Really innovative and the puzzle aspects of the game work extremely well with respect to traversing the level (great level design too)

Really cool game, I liked that some of the levels directly contradicted each other with the way that you are supposed to approach them. That is a really cool way of teaching the player how to play.

A very creative idea for a platformer. The levels are well-made. The only thing missing is the coyote's time.

very good idea but i need more pleasant movement, and walk on AD, jump on W. But these problems are covered by a cool idea!

Very unique and interesting concept! The game lost me on of the levels with changing directions, it's quite difficult for me to read the map, when everything is flying around so much. If you explore this concept it can become a great standalone puzzle game. Good job!

Such a clever design overall. Different delay settings create unique effects to solve puzzles in all kinds of creative ways. The late-game twist is also super well-executed and full of surprises. Absolutely love this concept, and I’m looking forward to more new features <3

Thank you so much everyone for the feedback, I'm happy you all thought the idea was clever! I might do a bigger version of this game one day because I have some new ideas I'd like to implement, aswell as fixing some stuff up (polishing up player movement with coyote's time and jump buffering, allow changing keybinds, etc.) to make sure the experience is better!
