Signal Space by Frogg

[raw]
made by Frogg for Ludum Dare 59 (JAM)

Signal Space is a 2 player local co-op game about signalling clues with word association.

One person (the clue giver) is tasked with place the cards on the diagram depending on their association to the words at each point. The second player is the guesser, and must close their eyes or grab a snack during this phase.

Once the cards are placed, it's up to the guesser to place the adjectives in their correct spot on the diagram.

Complete 5 rounds. Maximum score is 15 points!

Great concept and take on the theme. I'm going to bring this up on my phone to play with a friend the next time I'm out!

Oh, this is a cute idea!

I think it might be more fun if the choosing player could pick the adjectives from the pool after drawing their nouns. That would add another layer of choice and give them a better way to help the other player identify the adjectives.

Card movement is *super* smooth. I bet that took a lot of work to feel right. A co-op game makes it a little bit difficult to play by yourself. But I can totally see the fun in this. it reminds me of a board game that had a similar guess the world idea which used "primary" and "secondary" levels of association (good job on spinning that to be signal oriented).

Fun take on a multiplayer game! I enjoyed having to fit the topics into categories I ordinarily wouldn't associate with them.
