Mr. Snake has perished. He started to get pretty long for a while there.

Mr. Snake died way too many times jaja! Very funny, I didn't really understand the game's connection to the theme, or why he had to eat so many bananas xD

Love the art and sounds! I felt like the snake missed some of my arrow key inputs so it didn't always turn when I wanted it to turn, but it's a very cool puzzle game!

Very interesting mechanics! I found the North map was challenging to finish if you died after activating the first pattern, as it was really hard for me to replicate it while being charged and the switch was flipped so I couldn't get back to the second lightning bolt anymore, I think resetting the switches on death would have made that area easier to complete, or maybe make the first pattern a bit shorter.

The remake of all time classic with a twist! Interesting puzzles, but too difficult for me 😅

Nice looking game, and an interesting idea to turn snake into a puzzle. However I couldn't figure out what I was doing, maybe add more hints? The floor pattern reversed after touching the electricity icon, but after that I got stuck. I managed to get the bananas in the north but I am lost to the other screens.

I got everything else without hints but the desert one.

Pixelart was good, soundtrack was nice and chill and the sounds were retro. Game felt polished overall, no bugs that I could think of. Funny ending ...and everything explained without a letter of any language! :sunglasses:

Overall a nice mysterious puzzle and great expansion of the classic snake game!

Great take on the theme. I do like that it wasn't punishing if you died.

Good job!

I couldn't understand the desert one , I really wanted to finish the game haha ! (There is no answers for the desert in the links ^^)
Really cool game, I like the twist on the classic snake game, and I like the puzzles (even if some of them were a bit hard to understand by myself)
I like the art and music !

Not sure if this is intended, but the tower shape works to end the game with any power switch allowing the game to end without solving it all. Very cute puzzle game. Not entirely sure how it fits into the theme aside from the tower art added to the last room and bananas seem like a random choice for collectibles.

I really enjoyed it! It gave the snake game a fresh look. I managed to solve almost all the puzzles, but I couldn't get past the beginning of the desert: I die in the desert, I die on the boxes, I die on the cacti... There's no sign of anything. I even thought the stones were telling me the shape, but no... So I gave up. I wanted to reach the end, but I've been trying for over 30 minutes now.

The graphics are very beautiful and the music too!

I really wanted to finish.

Congratulations!

@revetoon and @euler-moises: I really appreciate you giving our game a try, and I'm sorry (but not terribly surprised) to hear you were stuck on the desert. It is kind of non sequitur compared to the other directions since you need to re-use shapes you learned elsewhere. I've updated the Chapter 4 guide to be a lot more explicit about this.

@bobap: Not particularly intended but also not unintended  the tower is large, so it makes sense it could pick up the signal from far away!

My thoughts are shared in the VOD. Hope we see you back for LD60. ✌
