SIZE Invaders by Alastairwyn
GAME DESCRIPTION
SIZE Invaders is a game where you control a space-ship, in space, while running out of space. The aim of the game is to shoot the red orbs to gain points; before they hit you and make you lose HP. There are also green balls, which require you to go over them to gain points as well as HP!

The bar shown at the bottom of the screen is how many spraying bullets you have left.

EXTRAS
After an abandoned game and an unplanned weekend, I actually got a game out!
My original idea for the game was a strategy based space game where you had to place planets while space was getting smaller. These planets held people, and the aim of the game was to get as many people as possible before space got too small and they all collided. This game was scrapped halfway through development when a game-breaking stopped progress. So I started again, and came up with "SIZE Invaders".
DETAILS
I used Scratch to code this game and worked alone.
I used the paper Mario game over theme.
I used the default sound effects from Scratch.
All other assets were made by me - including code.

Edit: Hey, I got around to playing your game and it was pretty fun. My highscore was 17, not sure if that's good or not but it took me 10 playthroughs to get it.
My advice is to fix the health so you die after 3 hits instead of 2, and to possibly tell the player the controls or something. I may just be stupid but it took me a while to get that the green balls heal me- I thought they were how I get points at first.
Anyways, I noticed that no one has ever rated your game as of my writing this comment. You might want to rate and give feedback to several more games to also be rated by more people
I had to say that the concept is good (reminds me a bit of old "Asteroid" arcade game) but the ship is hard to control with a keyboard :/ It should be better with twin stick or with WASD/Arrows and the ship pointing in the mouse direction ;)
In any case, congrats for this ;)
